Overview

An immersive multimedia sightseeing experience, THE TOUR offers 90 minutes of up-close views of New York City’s top attractions and landmarks aboard a custom-designed, multi-million-dollar tour bus. Guests can enjoy the vehicle’s licensed tour guides, stadium-style seating, 3,000 LED lights and 40 plasma-screen TVs, while seeing the Broadway District, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, and more.

Multi-million dollar motor coaches seat stadium style with floor to ceiling glass windows offering unmatched views of destinations such as Times Square, Columbus Circle, Central Park, the Empire State Building, Radio City Music Hall and Lincoln Center to name a few. THE TOUR maximizes the use of THE RIDE’s our 3,000 LED lights and 40 video screens to combine sightseeing with immersive audio-visual technology along the 90 minute route. Our live licensed navigator along with our talking deluxe vehicle take you on an educational, interactive journey unlike any other.

The TOUR box office is located inside the Gift Shop at 584 8th Avenue
(between 38th & 39th Streets). Open Daily 9:00am - 9:00pm (9am to 4pm Sun). The TOUR departs from 45th Street and Broadway outside the Marriott Marquis and ends at 46th Street and Broadway. Must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled performance time.

THE TOUR picks up at the corner of 45th street and 7th Avenue. They will drop off at 46th Street and 7th Avenue. Look for the bus, you can’t miss it.

THE TOUR isn’t a typical bus tour through New York, it’s an sightseeing experience that highlights Midtown Manhattan and the Upper West Side. So, hopping on or off THE TOUR would mean you’d miss a huge part of the experience. 


Are there seat belts on the bus?
There are no seat belts. We don’t go fast enough to warrant seat belts.


What if I’m prone to motion sickness?
We do not travel at high speeds. However, it does have the audience members facing sideways as we travel through New York City, so you can expect some repetitive starting and stopping that may affect some patrons.


What sights around NYC will we see?
Some interesting places are Broadway District, Columbus Circle, the Time Warner Center, Lincoln Center, Central Park, 5th Avenue, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, Times Square, Empire State Building, New NYC Main Branch of the Public Library, Bryant Park and more!

If you get stuck in traffic consider it free entertainment. Our bus is equipped with deeply researched audio, visual and fun technology to support the tour navigator’s historical information.
