Located in Midtown Manhattan's trendy Tribeca neighborhood, Moxy NYC Times Square offers pet-friendly boutique rooms with unique amenities such as clever under bed storage, flexible foldaway furniture, walk-in rain showers, and fast and free WiFi,

Macy's is only less than half a mile from the property and Penn Station is just two blocks away. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and an evening drink at the rooftop bar on the 18th floor with views of the Empire State Building (reservations are required).

All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV and air purification systems. Each room has a private bathroom. Extras include free toiletries, a hairdryer, a pen pegboard closet with a foldaway hanging desk, a luggage rack, a bench and chair.

There is a 24-hour front desk and a shared lounge.

Madison Square Garden is 0.2 mile from Moxy NYC Times Square, while Empire State Building is 0.3 mile from the property. The nearest airport is LaGuardia Airport which is 6.2 miles from the hotel.

"Nice hotel if you are young"

When checking into the hotel we don’t have the best experience which always leaves me questioning the hotel. The location of the hotel is excellent and the majority of staff are very good it was just the odd one or 2 that didn’t want to be polite. The rooms are small and compact we were 4 adults and this is not something I would recommend at all storage for clothes and hanging was a massive issue for us as there wasn’t any. The cleaning of the room on the 1 st day was excellent but from then on we had to ask for towels every day as they only ever left 2 for 4 people and even when we asked they were never delivered to us. We were there over new year and we completely understand that people celebrate as we did but when we could still hear the hotel party until the very early hours. The hotel is very much geared for younger people and not families. If you are looking for a good base and you are a young couple then this is the place for you

This was a nice getaway the Moxy never disappoints. Aliyah at the front desk was sweet and kind. The room good and the bed was comfortable. Food was delicious too.

"Taking money after the stay ended"

Checked in and gave my card for a deposit, which has yet to be refunded a week after checking out. Also have been charged a miscellaneous £150 after leaving without any information as to why or no prior informant that this would be taken.

"Overcharged room tax"

We stayed at the moxy Times Square hotel was lovely albeit small but we were massively overcharged room tax, we got charged $579 per room for 5 nights (which would make the resort fee or destination fee over $115 per night!!) deposit was taken separately (we had two rooms booked for 4 people) and we noticed this while staying there and went down and spoke to reception, we thought they had possibly charged the cost of both rooms to us twice and they confirmed this was an error and should have only been $205 per room so we would be refunded. We have not been refunded the full amount has been taken and we have had no response from the hotel while trying to deal with this issue
