Located in Midtown Manhattan's trendy Tribeca neighborhood, Moxy NYC Times Square offers pet-friendly boutique rooms with unique amenities such as clever under bed storage, flexible foldaway furniture, walk-in rain showers, and fast and free WiFi,

Macy's is only less than half a mile from the property and Penn Station is just two blocks away. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and an evening drink at the rooftop bar on the 18th floor with views of the Empire State Building (reservations are required).

All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV and air purification systems. Each room has a private bathroom. Extras include free toiletries, a hairdryer, a pen pegboard closet with a foldaway hanging desk, a luggage rack, a bench and chair.

There is a 24-hour front desk and a shared lounge.

Madison Square Garden is 0.2 mile from Moxy NYC Times Square, while Empire State Building is 0.3 mile from the property. The nearest airport is LaGuardia Airport which is 6.2 miles from the hotel.

Pet Policy: Pets are welcome (so long as your pet is a dog and weighs 30lbs or less). The hotel charges a non-refundable fee of $50 per pet, per stay at checkout, and will not exceed $150 per stay. Shame on me for not doing my research — stayed here because it was close to my company’s NYC office. This is NOT a hotel for business travelers! It’s a cracker box room with no real desk, chair etc. I felt like I was staying at a youth hostel. No closet (hang clothes on hooks on wall), small sink, counter in room, not bathroom. May be great for “hip and trendy” crowd for fun trip to NYC (it is a great location), but not for anyone over 40 who appreciates the “finer things.” On positive note, the shower was fabulous …

The stay was great and while the room was very “cozy” it was nice, clean, and well organized. The common area is fantastic and a great end of day space to share w your crew. The front desk folks (Joanne, Maze, Letty, and Craig) were phenomenally helpful and a lot of fun to work with!

The customer service experienced tonight by the young and clearly disengaged “crew” was ridiculously rude. Tutting and eye rolling after asking for a spare room key (hardly a cardinal sin) and then threw the key at me without even explaining that this had now been activated. Also didn’t even bother with the basic manners to say hello or good evening - she appeared genuinely inconvenienced at having to speak to a paying guest. Really poor over a very routine and reasonable request. Sums up the reliance this hotel has on young staff lacking manners or any life experience to be able to deal with hotel guests over the age of 25.
