Sky Room Lounge & Rooftop Bar in New York City, NY

Booked for a birthday event for a 60th for 10 ladies. $30.00 dollars a head. Two miserable plates of cheese and biscuits 0h don't let's forget the olives! No napkins and everyone in the room helped themselves not just our guests. Rude bar service, undrinkable cocktails served in plastic glasses by an untrained waitress who carried them across the room with her hands on the rim - ugh! Lost my bank card requested as security, eventually returned minus the security envelope. This resulted in my having to cancel the bank card with all the inconvenience. HUGE PRESSURE TO PAY A TIP DESPITE TERRIBLE SERVICE. WRITTEN to several people connected with SkyRoom - a week later NO REPLY NO Apology! DON'T VISIT.

Stopped in to have a cocktail and check out the view on the recommendation of a Coworker. Glad we did! The view was great and they had a couple good drink specials. Our waitress was friendly and as quick as she could be considering she was the only waitress on the rooftop bar side. They must have had a bus stop there unexpectedly because it went from the one waitress being able to handle the amount of customers to not almost instantaneously. Surprised the management didn't send her help. We left and had dinner elsewhere but returned after eating to see the excellent view again at night.

Went for a friend’s birthday. Unexpectedly a promoter got us in for free and took us straight to a section right next to the dj booth which was so nice. We were catered with drinks all nights. The music is versatile, the dj plays all genres. The view from the rooftop is also really nice.

Excellent place, with stunning view, of course! Had gone there, thanks to our wonderful friends who shared a Groupon deal with us. The restaurant was full, food and drinks were excellent, music was contemporary and nice. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Since we were a large group, I requested extra seating... within a few moments they arranged for the same. Highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼

They lost my coat that I left at the coatroom giving it to someone else that obviously didn’t show them the right number. I asked to speak with a manager to solve the issue and this lady finally showed up after keeping me waiting for 30 min. She said she knew who had my coat and she was trying to call this person to get it back! Can you believe that?!!!I was speechless. Again she disappeared and I waited for a while without understating what was really going on. Extremely annoyed by the situation I went upstairs looking for someone to speak with and after sometime the manager appeared again telling me that the guy with my coat was on his way back from the Bronx!!It was already 1h since I was waiting there in this unclear and frustrating situation and I told her that I wasn’t willing to wait anymore without being sure that they guy was really on his way back and she replied to me: “EITHER YOU WAIT OR YOU GO F**K YOURSELF”. I was speechless in front of a manager so rude that replies in this way to a customer after all the disruption created to me. Unfortunately they didn’t let me speak with anyone else above her but people like this should not do this job and should be fired immediately.
