The Boston Movie Mile Walking Tour takes visitors to the most filmed areas of Boston: Boston Common and Beacon Hill. A local actor leads you through over 30 filming locations seen on screen while providing behind-the-scenes information and fun facts about the Boston TV and filming industry. These interactive walking tours take place rain or shine and last approximately 1.5 hours.

No, you will not be going inside any of the locations along the tour, with the exception of Cheers™, which is where the tour ends.
The Boston Movie Mile is only available in English at this time. Since so much of the tour is visual, however, visitors from countries like Japan, Germany, Spain, and plenty of others have enjoyed the tour just the same!
Because of some sidewalks on the route, the normal route that this tour follows is not wheelchair accessible.
Please wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather.

Yes. There are some great spots for taking photos and videos at our numerous stops along the way. You may take photos at the various locations your guide is highlighting.
No food or drinks are served on the tour, but you can feel free to bring something of your own if it is neat and you’re sure to throw away all garbage properly. Alcohol is prohibited.
