"DO NOT STAY HERE"

Arrived at 10am on Friday, room wasn't ready yet so I left my car with valet with all my belongings inside tye car still. Went exploring the city for the day. Got notification that my room was ready early afternoon. Returned to hotel at 5pm, retrieved my belongings from my car and made way to my room. Had a great day. Went to bed & at 230am was awoken from a deep sleep by the worst sounds ever. It was the worst loud music I've ever heard coming from outside along with beeping of car horns. I called the front desk and was told the area bars/clubs were let out and a bunch of people decided to keep the after party going in the streets and the cops were called. Well this went on for a good hour and we couldn't go back to sleep until it got quiet. The next night the same exact thing happened but just with beeping horns, no music this time. Upon checkout, I noticed a charge for an early valet fee. I prepaid for 2 full days and was charged an extra fee. I went to the front desk to see if the fee could be waived & was greeted by the most rude woman at the front desk. She told me I checked in early and and that is why the fee can't be waived. I told her I did park at 10am but my room wasn't ready so I didnt check in and I also pre paid for 2 days. She said, sorry I cant waive it. I then told her about the loud noises both nights and she didnt offer any compensation. She said those noises aren't the hotels fault. The way she addressed everything to me was so rude too. This was probably the worst customer service I've ever received at a hotel. I find it hard to believe they couldn't waive a $20 early valet fee. I warn people DO NOT travel to this hotel on any weekend day, unless you want to be woken up from your sleep at 230am for at least 1 hour.

"Would stay here again"

The front desk staf were friendly and helpful. Our room, with two queen beds, was a good size. A large safe was built in to one of the drawers. There was plenty of closet space. The bathroom was a good size with plenty of counter space. The room was clean and in good condition. The hotel is located across the street from the Tufts hospital. We stayed here several nights and on one night some guy was reving a car or motorcycle up and down the road a few times around 1am. If you are bothered by noise, you may want to request a room not near the street. But as mentioned, this was only for maybe 10 minutes or so one night. We ate breakfast here one morning and the food and service was good. The lobby area is large with a bar + tables + lounge chairs and on some evenings they have a singer. We had to use the parking one night and that costs, unfortunately, a hefty $65 overnight. All in all, I would stay here again.

"Average hotel at an exorbitant price"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

A very average hotel which is wildly overpriced. Our room was small, had one very uncomfortable armchair, and no visible glasses or coffeemaker. No idea if they were there. The bathroom was one of the worst I have encountered in a Hilton, especially the ancient shower in which your elbows were in danger if you tried to turn around. This hotel also has one of the noisiest lobbies in recent memory for us; we avoided it. Breakfast was at standard upscale hotel prices and was not what we would have preferred. The coffee was too dark a roast, the potato cakes were tasteless and previously frozen, and the yogurt parfait had okay ingredients, but was excessively sweet and in too small a dish to mix the fruit on top into the other contents. Parking is valet only, and the two men we encountered running it were professional and pleasant, but we were stuck with the $65 cost. I would not have written a review were it not for the astonishing cost of this below average room. We will not stay here again.

"Skip it unless you like all-night parking lot ragers"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5

Everything about this hotel was great until about 2am, when an all-out rave broke out in the parking lot outside our room. Easily thirty cars were crammed in, comparing extremely loud sound systems. Nobody was answering at the front desk, and in the morning when I mentioned it, the employee at the front desk acted like it was the first time it had ever happened. (According to reviews here, it has been going on for at least four years). I realize that the hotel may not own the parking lot and isn't responsible for what happens there, but please don't patronize your guests. It was very sweet of the desk employee to offer us a Starbucks voucher, but that doesn't make up for three hours of lost sleep.

"$25 early check in fee"

They charge an early check in fee of $25. Ridiculous and bad business. Room was okay and what you would expect from a hotel charging early check in fees.
