"Extremely disappointed"

We arrived at the Sheraton to find the lobby completely overwhelmed, with approximately 200 students crowded into the space, despite having booked our room over a month in advance and being a loyal Marriott member. From check-in through the stay, the experience was unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting a smooth check-in process or to actually receive the room they reserved. I booked a king bedroom and checked in at 4:00 PM. After being told there would be a delay, I received no communication or updates whatsoever regarding room availability. After waiting two hours, I had to return to the front desk myself to ask for an update, only to be assigned a double-bed room at 6:00 PM—not the room I booked or paid for. While I was initially understanding of the delayed check-in, the lack of communication combined with a two-hour wait and failure to honor my reservation is beyond disappointing. When I spoke with the manager, the only “compensation” offered was lounge access for snacks and juice, which does not begin to make up for the chaos, inconvenience, or poor handling of the situation. This experience fell well below Marriott standards and reflects a serious breakdown in organization, communication, and customer service.

Amazing stay at this hotel great location in the city also joined onto the back bay shopping centre room and staff amazing great bar area in reception 15 minutes from airport in a taxi train station 10 minute walk and metro station inside shopping mall brilliant

We booked a junior suite with a river view on the twentieth floor – actually 18 floors up since there are no floors 4 and 13, owing to eastern and western superstition! Our six-night stay was extremely comfortable, and we very much welcome the fact that our room was made up early in the morning. (In some hotels we have come back in the late afternoon to find the bed still not made up.) The room service staff were very pleasant and worked hard to ensure that we had everything we needed. The room had a fridge, a coffee machine, and a safe, and an ice machine on the same floor. The hotel has only one restaurant, but it opens out into a complex where there are numerous dining facilities. Our preference was for Eataly – a group of several Italian restaurants, which we have reviewed separately. The hotel is well situated, connecting to the Haynes Convention Center, which was very convenient for the event we were attending. If returning to Boston, we would certainly stay here again.

We recently stayed here for a conference and plan to stay here for any future trips. The staff was exceptionally kinda. Terese, who handled our check in, went above in beyond fining us a room that would suit our needs. The lounge was very nice with plenty of space to relax. I also thought the robe was especially comfortable and made my evening comfy. The hotel is recently renovated and the property is well maintained. All around great experience.

We booked the hotel because of the location, connected to the Hynns Auditorium. Hotel was nice, front desk women was wonderful and room was good. We were happy with our stay. However, we did eat in restaurant for supper food was better than expected, but they should hire more staff. Those there were working hard just not enough. Breakfast was disappointing. Slow to get food “cooking for the club and dinning area”. Shouldn’t take over half an hour for a muffin and oatmeal. Anyway, many other options to eat go explore them
