You have to see the USS Missouri at least once. Having been a snipe in the US Navy I was looking forward to the Chief Engineer's tour where you get to tour the engineering spaces. However, we didn't arrive until after the last tour had started. We ended up taking the Captain's tour instead which was still great. With the Captain's tour you get a guided tour to the wardroom, the captain's in port cabin, the radio room, CEC (Combat Engagement Center), and then you finish the tour inside gun turret 1. There are extra admission fees for the Captain's tour and the Chief Engineer's tour. In my opinion it is still worth it. The USS Missouri Memorial receives no government funding and relies on the admission fees to preserve and maintain this amazing piece of history for future generations to see. I'd recommend seeing the USS Arizona Memorial at the same time. There is a free bus that will take you from the Arizona to the Missouri. Most people can not drive to the Missouri as it is on an active military base.

after riding the shuttle from Pearl Harbor, we visited the Battleship Missouri. There was an above-deck docent tour that showed us several things, including the spot where the treat was signed. After that, we went below decks and walked through the living quarters, etc. it was interesting! The Passport to Pearl Harbor also grants you access to the USS Bowfin and the related Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum, and the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum. The website also lists the USS Oklahoma Memorial but we didn’t visit it. We enjoyed the Passport as we got to see so many things.

Listen to crew comments would be my take on this and best tip. They’ll charge $37 for the “free pic” they ask you to pose for before boarding simply to help with boat costs🤷🏻 Anyway post tour found it interesting memories come flooding back as ex Royal Navy enjoyed trip worth a look see.

"Book the Captain’s Tour for behind the scenes access"

Booked general admission and Captain’s Tour tickets on the official website because we wanted confirmation of the time we could get into the Captain’s Tour. To get to the Missouri, you have to take a free shuttle from the Pearl Harbor visitor center (free admission also). Due to security reasons, you can’t bring most bags into Pearl Harbor visitor center, so check the website ahead of time for information. Otherwise there is a place to check your bag if you brought one. We didn’t have a bag, so can’t rate the bag checkin experience. The free shuttle was easy to find. The waiting area is outside but covered with nice seating options. The shuttle bus itself is very comfortable and air conditioned. It’s a quick and pleasant ride to the Missouri. Once you get to the Missouri site, you are dropped off very close to the ship. Public restrooms are available near the shuttle bus station. You will walk past a gift shop and a couple outdoor food truck options before getting to the checkin. Once you checkin, you will walk up stairs to get to the gangway to the ship. Not sure if there was an accessible option since we did not require one. If you purchase the Captain’s Tour, you also check in once on the ship to confirm your arrival. You get a lanyard and a bottle of water with the Captain’s Tour. If you get there with enough time before your Captain’s Tour, you should take the general admission guided tour. It helps having some of the general information provided in this tour before proceeding to the Captain’s Tour. For us, we had Ford as our tour guide for both the general tour and the Captain’s Tour. Would definitely recommend Ford if you have a chance to choose your guide. He provided a wealth of information and insight from several former Missouri crew members whom he had met. We especially enjoyed the behind the scenes Captain’s Tour. It helped to visualize the enormous responsibility of the commanding officer and his critical crew members. This tour requires walking over high doorways and climbing up vertical stairs, so you will not enjoy the full tour if you have mobility issues.
