Pick up and transportation are included. Travel to this hidden gem just outside the tourist district's hustle and bustle.

Steeped in rich history, certified guides will lead you down the river, pointing out the abundance of wildlife as you glide through ancient cypress forests. This 2-hour out and back eco-tour is a great way to explore the peaceful side of the Sunshine State.

Catch glimpses of turtles, birds of prey, wading birds, and maybe even an alligator.

Tour includes single or tandem kayaks or tandem, paddling instructions, and all paddling equipment.

After your tour, enjoy a picnic lunch along the river before heading back to your pickup location. This is the perfect half-day Florida experience for all ages to enjoy.

All tour guides are Certified Kayak Instructors by the American Canoe Association (ACA) as well as First Aid and CPR trained and certified.

Please call the number on your e-ticket after purchase to confirm your pick-up location.

Can I eat or drink in the vehicle?

Unfortunately, the only thing allowed in the vehicle is bottled water due to the abundance of Florida critters that love to hitch rides. There will be plenty of time outside the vehicle to eat and drink.

What happens if Mother Nature interferes with our trip?

Florida is one of those places where the weather can change in an instant. It can rain on one side of the street and be completely sunny. The guides will do their best to ensure all activities are completed; however, guests' safety is of utmost importance.

What should I bring?

Camera, sunscreen, insect repellent, sun hat, sunglasses, bathing suit and towel. A light sweater or jacket is recommended for the air-conditioned drive.

Is the tour appropriate for children?

The Shingle Creek kayak tour is family-friendly fun, but is not suitable for children under 5 years of age.
