This introduction to the high-tech world of indoor growing will open your eyes to the possibilities of year-round, pesticide-free, high-quality, high-yield agriculture suitable for any size. Farm. One grows more different crop varieties than any other farm in the world and supplies many of the best chefs in the city.

In this three-hour class, you'll learn about the principles of hydroponics and the varieties of hydroponic systems as well as proper climates and nutrients to use for your crops and basics for growing and managing plants from seed to harvest. We'll also cover how to avoid pests without using pesticides and how to properly prune and harvest to get the best yield from your plants.

Students get hands-on experience from seed to harvest under the guidance of our Plant Scientist, Caleb Raff. Students of all experience levels and all backgrounds are welcome. Classes are limited to 6 students, enabling plenty of one-on-one instruction.

This is a functioning commercial farm, so no outside food or drink may be brought inside. Please ensure you wear clean clothes and shoes with no trace of soil or other potential contamination on them.

I want to grow cannabis plants. Does this class cover cannabis production?
This class does not cover any of the specifics of cannabis growing. However, the same principles still apply.

Are pets allowed?
No. Absolutely no pets are allowed inside or on the tour.

Can I bring my bags?
Everything is kept on a coat rack inside the farm facility, just not taken into the farm itself. The farm can be locked from the inside for security and customers may keep valuables on them in the pockets of their protective lab coats.
