Terrible experience. Check-in at 3; room not actually ready until 5:15, so we spent time waiting around in the lobby for the room to be ready. No apology from staff and no updates during the wait--we had to ask ourselves. We overheard one staff member telling another unhappy guest, "3 pm is just the start of check-in. We could check you in at midnight." Unreal behavior and attitude.

We usually stay in midtown for the US Open but decided to change it up and stay downtown. Located directly across the street with views of reflecting pool and world trade from room. Walked to Wall Street, SoHo and Chinatown. Many sub stations to midtown, Uber Black to Flushing for the US Open $65.

I’ve stayed here a few times. The staff is lovely and kind. The special touches like water bottles, tea and coffee all day. Room very comfortable and the lounge is peaceful. It feels like a real getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

First time to ever come and stay in NY. We were a little skeptical (coming from the country in Kentucky) as we have never been to a city so big, however, Runita at the check-in desk made us feel right at home! She was very accommodating. We arrived early and Runita was very patient with us and offered to keep our luggage for FREE in a safe haven while we went and toured the city until we could check in. I am a business woman, so when I see another business woman be so empathetic and nice, I like to shout that out because you rarely get that hospitality in such a big city. The Terrace View Room was more than we expected it to be! The room and hotel is very nice and we WILL be back to stay!
