Learn all about the Freedom Trail, its history, and how New York played a significant role in this part of history. Guests will visit an archaeological site and memorial, experience a former site for the Underground Railroad, and listen to the stories of New Yorkers who risked their lives to help people escape slavery in America.

Tours are approximately 2.5 hours long.
From April 1st to October 31st, tours are available on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 1pm. In November, December, and March, tours are available on Saturdays at 1pm.
All guests should meet in front of the Museum of the American Indian at 1 Bowling Green, New York, NY 10004.

Yes. Tours are rain or shine and all guests should dress appropriately for the weather conditions. In cases of severe weather on the day of your tour, the tour will be canceled and guests will be provided a full refund.
