We absolutely loved the location, the customer service, accommodations, breakfast view. The hotel I right across from PATH train, 4 min ride, 1 stop to WTC and all of NYC accessible by public transit from there. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. This will be a go to spot for us

"Our Dream Wedding Come True at Hyatt House,"

Words can’t even begin to describe how grateful we are to the entire team at Hyatt House for making our wedding day absolutely perfect. From the moment we walked in for our first tour, we just knew this was the place we wanted to say “I do.” The staff went above and beyond every step of the way. Eileen was so patient, kind, and organized — she made us feel calm and cared for throughout the entire planning process. Melissa, was very attentive to ensure our room block flawlessly accommodated our guests. On the big day, everything ran so smoothly that we were able to just relax and soak in every moment. The ceremony space was breathtaking, the reception room and venue looked like timeless New York City vibes , and the food… wow! Our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was. The service was incredible — warm, attentive, and genuine. After the reception, we stayed in our suite, and it was the perfect way to end such a special night. The staff surprised us with champagne, dessert bites, and a note. It was such a thoughtful touch. We’ll forever be grateful to Hyatt House for giving us the most beautiful start to our marriage. It truly felt like a dream come to life, and we can’t wait to come back for anniversaries in the years ahead!

"Bad restaurant management almost ruins stay. Front desk picks up the ball and runs with it."

This is a very tough review to write. I like this property, but day one had some serious issues. Some, not the hotels fault. But others…..ugh. I need to compliment Robert at the front desk. He primarily dealt with me at my worst and was a true professional the entire time. His calm demeanor helped me get thru day one. I checked in the early evening with my family after a long, cross country trip. I was kicked out of the rooftop restaurant because I dared to take a photo of the skyline. In a completely unmarked location I was yelled at and chased away by the manager, “Sha” who said I was in a VIP area (which has no signage or separation from the restaurant to label it so). There was a problem with my credit card at the front desk, which is where Robert distinguished himself. Then, my kid had a stomach ache but she and my wife couldn’t get in the room because the door handle was broken. Multiple trips to the front desk and finally maintenance was called to fix the problem. I asked for a room change the next day and received one. 1226 was fine, but there is a very loud mechanical noise behind the wall of the first bed. I was too frustrated to switch again so I lived with it thru my stay. A small snack basket was sent to the room to make amends for the broken door handle in 226, but my biggest gripe was how I was treated in that restaurant. The rest of the stay was great. The breakfast in the morning was great. The neighborhood is good and convenient to PATH riders. There are really good aspects to this property. I noted at least one other guest locked out of his room during my stay. I think the door handle problem is a thorn in the property’s side. For all the positives, I would stay here again. But I will never set foot in that restaurant again.
