"This place is dysfunctional and nobody cares!"

This place is a complete disaster. Check in was at 4pm and it’s now 9pm. Upon arrival they said the room would be ready in 45min, 3hrs later it’s still not ready. The management team had no concerns or compensation for their lack of ownership with our reservations. We’ve been traveling from Texas since 6am and we just want to rest but apparently that’s not possible. I do NOT recommend ever!

"Centrally located and lots to do around the Millennium Hotel!"

I stayed at the Millennium Hotel in Downtown and have no complaints. It is located in a great spot, lots of walkable areas and a ton of restaurants. The hotel is basic and rooms on the smaller side but you don't come to NYC to stay in a hotel room. The bed and pillows were comfotable.

"All new renovations!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

Wow, wow, wow. The Millennium renovation has begun! The new rooms are exceptional! New everything! Not a cosmetic coverup. New furniture, new carpet, new bedding, new bathrooms, new fixtures, and new drapes. New trim, new paint, new flat screens, new lighting, and a new mini fridge and coffee maker! Did I mention everything is new? And thermostats in each room! Same breathtaking views of lower Manhattan to Midtown, the Hudson River, overlooking the 9/11 Memorial and the Oculus, New Jersey, the East River, the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, and Brooklyn! And the staff is the absolute best, especially Terquone (TQ). Always a pleasure to see him at check in, as it is the rest of the staff. The Operations Manager Hayley Gordin is doing a fantastic job. If you haven’t been here yet, book a room. If you haven’t been back in a while, you need to stay here again. You won’t be disappointed. And the renovation has just begun! Can’t wait for the new restaurant and bar!

"Awful customer service"

Where do I start! It’s about $200 a night for a room then they charge you an extra $150 holding fee per night on top of that! I was supposed to have an upper level king bed but when I arrived at 8pm my room wasn’t ready so they put me in a lower queen because it was the only thing available. I heard construction start at 9am the next day and when I called to complain and switch room they told me they would have the manager call back. Never did. Later that day I called 4 different times within 4 hours to ask for waters. Never got them and went out. Coming back I asked for the waters at the desk and the guy there (Eric) was arguing with me about if I really called and then said he wasn’t going to do anything for me at all if I didn’t respect him. I wasn’t cussing or being disrespectful so I found it quite offensive. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I heard the guy next to me arguing with the guest service too and canceled his reservation. I called the regional manager but no answer. I left a voicemail two days ago and no call back. Big surprise. The one good thing about the room though is the view if you’re higher up.
