MEETING SPOT:
The Independence Pub Crawl meets at the Samuel Adams Statue in front of Faneuil Hall. For GPS, the best address is 6 Faneuil Hall Square, Boston MA 02109. The Sam Adams Statue is located on Congress Street side of Faneuil Hall. The statue is about 20 feet tall and features Sam Adams standing on top of a pedestal with his arms crossed. Walk around to the front of the statue so that you’re looking Sam in the face. Your guide will be there.

The Independence Pub Crawl You will meet your guide at the Sam Adams Statue in front of Faneuil Hall. For GPS, the best address is 1 Faneuil Hall Square, Boston, MA 02109. Walk around to the front of the statue so that you’re looking Sam in the face. Your guide will be there.

The pub crawls last approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes long.

What do the tours cover?

On the Independence Pub Crawl, the guides will share the stories that your 8th grade Social Studies teacher left out. From the landing on Plymouth Rock to the start of the Revolution, you’ll learn how beer played a part in the birth of America.

What time should I arrive for my Crawl?

They ask that you arrive five minutes before the start of your crawl. Your guide will have a waiver for you to fill out while they check your ID or passport.

How far will I be walking?

The Independence Pub Crawl takes place in Boston’s famous Faneuil Hall District. The walking distance is limited to just a few blocks.

How many Bars do we visit?

Each crawl stops at four bars. The Independence Pub Crawl is centered around Boston’s Historic Quincy Market, and the Fenway Pub Crawl takes you along the iconic Lansdowne street.

What bars do we go to?

The routes change depending on tour size, day of the week, and time. For the Independence Pub Crawl, all the bars are within two blocks of each other and have historical significance.

Do you have to be 21+ Years Old to go on the pub crawl?

Yes. All Pub Crawlers must be 21 or older and present a valid ID before the tour. Valid ID includes ONLY passports, US driver's licenses, and US military IDs. Unfortunately, foreign driver's licenses are not accepted in Massachusetts. All Pub Crawlers must also sign a waiver of liability before the start of the Pub Crawl. ​

Can I bring someone who is under 21?

No. Unfortunately, all crawlers must be at least 21 years old with proper identification. This is because of the strict blue law in Massachusetts.

Does the crawl operate rain, shine, or snow?

Yes! They crawl rain, shine, or snow. The bars are located close to each other, and they will keep you as dry as possible.
