Innovative lighting technology brings the main arena backdrop to life and features a stunning tribute to the Great Smoky Mountains.
Doors open 30 minutes before showtime. To reduce your wait time, do not arrive more than 45 minutes before your scheduled showtime.

Billed as the Smokies' Most Fun Place to Eat, Dolly Parton's Stampede in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, offers a dinner and show like no other. Watch as 32 magnificent horses and a cast of top-notch riders thrill you with daring feats of trick riding and friendly competition.

A thrilling and moving performance has been added to the show – combining the show’s equestrian stars, breathtaking aerial acrobatics, and original new music from Dolly herself aptly titled “Wild Horses”. The show culminates with an emotional musical conclusion set to a patriotic salute of Red, White, and Blue—featuring Color Me America, written and recorded by Dolly Parton herself.

Great atmosphere for the Stampede. I loved the way everything flowed from the beginning with the buffalo with the early beginnings of the USA. Everyone involved with the stampede were highly talented.

Tip: Bring your appetite and extra money for pictures

I enjoyed the show and the food tremendously. Missed part of the show due to staff showing pictures taken upon arrival and purchase of pictures. Should have been a location to go and pick pictures up if we wanted them. Quality of pictures was not the best.

Tip: Be hungry and ready to laugh and have a good time.

Dixie Stampede has changed a lot over the last 25 to 30 years all for the better, you can hear clearly the actors. The actors we very entertaining. The meal was great and tasty, the waiting staff was on point and took care of us.

Tip: Make sure you get reservations early, arrive early

"The SMELL was awful!"

I have attended the Stampede before and other shows that use horses and other live animals but the smell at the show we attended was unacceptable! The smell was so bad that it actually was burning my nose and eyes! I don't know if it was due to it being the last show of the day or what but it was really bad. My husband and daughter couldn't even eat because the smell was so bad. The show itself was okay, but honestly if you see one show you mine as well have seen them all. They all pretty much run on the same story line, which can be very boring. We did both the Stampede and the Pirates Voyage and the meals were basically the same for both, so once again if you do one don't bother doing the other.

We always have the best time despite the fact our tickets ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS gets mixed up and we have to move seats ALWAYS!!!! the food is great! This year they added an acrobatic act!!! It is amazing!!!!

Tip: If there is someone in your party that can’t stand for long periods of time, bring a wheelchair.

Dolly's Stampede is fabulous! Wonderful show for all ages!! Staff is friendly and excellent and the show is wonderful. It's action packed and gets the crowd involved during the competition races. The food is cooked to perfection and very good! We enjoy the regular show year round, but we attended the Christmas show, which is a must see!!

Tip: Allergies to hay/horses, don't go or take allergy meds. Only provided a fork, but you can eat all food given with the fork and/or your hands

We love the Stampede, but we've seen the regular and Christmas shows a few times each. It's time to update or change the show some, it's beginning to get old. So we've gone our last time until they do something new.
