"Enjoyable but disappointed in the meal plan. Not all exhibits open"
May 2023
Disappointed that the weather was cool and wet and many food booths were closed. We had bought the meal package and was very disappointed. The crab on the bread was dried out, employees unsure of what the food plan entailed. The booth that the crab/bread was at they would not tell us when fresh food would be available. The same 2 were there at closing time.Shows were great with most of the staff and all entertainers were excellent. You did not get your monies worth for the food plan. Especially when Canadians are paying 40 cents on the dollar.

"Do Not Go During Christmas!"
January 2023
Major issues with Dollywood was the park was extremely overcrowded and several rides were down due to weather. Most of your big rides can not operate if the temp fall below 34 degrees. The park was so crowded that it took over an hour to get parked. We were in the park from noon until 8pm and were only able to ride two rides and the train! We had two day passes but after the first day we didn't even bother to go the second day. The park was beautiful but not worth the the money that was spent on tickets! Very disappointing

"Don't Waste Your Money"
October 2022
We were at Dollywood 10-12-22. Park opened at 10am we arrived at 11am. The cars were so backed up it took 20 minutes just to pay to park. Then the parking lot was gridlock. We parked at 12:21pm at Splash Country then waited in a 30 minute line to board the tram back to Dollywood. Once we finally arrived at the front of the park it was 1:00pm, 2 full hours after we arrived. The park was wall-to-wall people and there seemed to be no plan in place to handle the crowds on this particular day. The shows we had planned to see were closed for the day. We grabbed lunch in the Food Truck area and after ordering, when we picked up our food we were informed there was no Coca Cola available nor was there ketchup for our chicken tenders. The park was obviously over capacity but there was no plan in place to restrict entry to only those with date specific tickets, as other theme parks do at busy times. We walked the loop, hubs did 1 ride, I did 0. We left at 4pm after we retrieved our coast from the locker I spent $15 for. We had planned to see Illuminights but we couldn't deal with the crazy crowds and lack of any type of order.

"Best amusement park"
August 2022
i went with a 10 year old and thrill seeking adults . we went on a monday it was great we never had to wait long in lines. the staff was so friendly the area was clean. we spent the whole day there and did not do everything there was to do. the boys made sure they rode all of the thrill rides . the 10 year old did not like thrill rides but had a great time on the scrambler the water ride the cars train and the bubble pool. the food was normal park prices so expect it to be high but the portions are big. I have to recommend the butterfly snow cone. we watched one of the shows and seen a few outside shows. we done a lot of walking about 7 miles .
