Overview

Engage in a luau experience that you will not be able to find anywhere else. Fully immerse into the Polynesian culture while watching a show produced by the fire-knife dancing world champion, Chief Sielu Avea. Before the show, learn to hula dance, weave headbands, or get a temporary tattoo. You can even learn to make fire by rubbing sticks together. Feel like part of the family at Chief’s Luau with flower lei greetings, Mai Tais, and an all-you-can eat Hawaiian Feast. This luau will be sure to leave you with lasting memories from Oahu.

Good To Know

Face masks will be optional for any and all purchases on property - masks required in restroom.
The luau show is about 2 hours.
Arrive at 5 PM for pre-show activities.
Cash bar is available, some drinks included with purchase of luau package.
For the ultimate experience, the royal experience is recommended.

Join the Chief and his 'Ohana (family) for an amazing evening of Polynesian culture and fun. Produced by Chief Sielu Avea, the original world champion fire-knife dancer and widely regarded as the best and funniest Polynesian entertainer in the South Pacific.

Hotel pick-up is available from 7 convenient pick-up points in Waikiki with departure times ranging from 3:55-4:40 pm depending on your departure location for an additional fee. You must call the number on your voucher after purchase to set-up the pick up location. During Covid measures transportation will be kept at 50% capacity.

Please arrive at your departure location 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Look for a GREEN "Roberts" motorcoach. If for any reason you miss your bus, you will be required to find your own way to the luau. Return transportation to Waikiki will still be provided.

The luau is located at Wet'n'Wild Hawaii. 400 Farrington Hwy, Honolulu, HI 96707. From Waikiki, find your way to H-1 West, Exit 1E Farrington Hwy, right at the traffic light, right into the parking lot.

What time should I arrive?

Check-in begins at 5:00 pm. Gates open at 5:15 pm. Luau begins at 5:30 pm and ends at about 8:00 pm

How long is the luau?

The luau is approximately 2 hours.

Is there a fee for parking?

Yes. Parking fees vary.

Are children allowed at the luau?

Yes. All ages are welcome. Children age 4 and under are free.

Is transportation available?

Roundtrip transportation is available from 7 central Waikiki locations for an additional cost.

Is hotel pick-up available?

Hotel pick-up is available from 7 convenient pick-up points in Waikiki with departure times ranging from 3:55-4:40 pm depending on your departure location. Please call the number listed on your voucher after purchase to set-up the pick-up location. The exact departure time and location will be emailed to you. Motorcoaches return to the original departure point. If requiring an ADA bus lift, we require at least 48-hour notice. ADA Lifts are only available for guests in wheelchairs. Please call to schedule and confirm hotel pick-up at least 48 hours in advance. Please arrive at your departure location 10 minutes prior to the departure time. Look for a GREEN "Roberts" motorcoach. If you miss your bus, you will be required to find your own way to the luau.

Does the luau accommodate special dietary needs?

Yes. Vegetarian, Dairy-free, Gluten-free, and Peanut-free options are available. The catering production facility is NOT peanut-free or tree nut-free.
