Embark on a one-and-a-half-hour evening boat trip from Keauhou Harbor to experience the stunning Kona coastline and sunset as you await the arrival of manta rays. Learn about the area's history and culture while enjoying snacks from a fresh fruit and sushi platter as the sun sets behind the ocean. As night falls, we return to Manta Village to witness the majestic manta rays feeding on the abundant buffet of phytoplankton attracted by the glow of underwater dive lights on this unforgettable snorkel tour on the Island of Hawaii.

Slide into the inviting Pacific Ocean, buoyed by a light board, and experience the thrill of giant manta rays gracefully gliding and swooping through the waters within inches of you. Back on board, complete your breathtaking experience with some warm green tea on the short ride back to Keauhou Pier.

On the rare occasion you don’t see any manta rays on the Big Island sunset snorkel tour, you can join again for free on the next available scheduled tour (pending space availability).

"Kona snorkeling"

We had such an incredible snorkeling experience in Kona! From the moment we got on the boat, Captain Bambi made the whole trip fun, relaxed, and memorable. She’s knowledgeable, energetic, and clearly loves what she does — which makes the entire experience even better. One of the things we loved most was the smaller group size. It made the trip feel much more personal and allowed for a really relaxed, intimate experience out on the water. Captain Bambi took the time to point out marine life, share local knowledge, and make sure everyone felt comfortable and confident in the water. The snorkeling itself was amazing — beautiful reefs, tons of fish, and just an overall unforgettable Kona ocean experience. You can tell this crew truly cares about both their guests and the ocean. If you’re looking for a fun, friendly, and more personal snorkeling tour in Kona, this is absolutely the one to book. And if you get Captain Bambi, you’re in for an extra great time! 🌊🐠

The host was very patient and accommodating. We were delayed at the airport due to a long wait for our rental car and arrived later than expected, but the host waited for us without any issue. We really appreciated the understanding and flexibility.

"Superb manta ray experience"

Magical snorkel with the manta rays - it is a totally ethereal experience where you are in their world! Bambi helped us move our scheduled time so that we avoided bad incoming weather and had a superb time. This team goes from near the manta Ray village, so while it’s a little further by car, the shorter boat ride is good - especially when coming back in the dark when you are wet! Loved this trip - very recommended.

This was my daughter's first trip to the island and I wanted her to experience something new, so we took the night cruise with Bambi to see the manta rays and it was truly a magical experience for my daughter and I. Bambi was amazing on explaining everything we were experiencing. At first my daughter was scared but with Bambis experience and gentleness she put us at ease. 1000 percent worth it experience. I would recommend her tours all day long. Small and intimate and worth every minute. They treat you like family and you learn so many wonderful things along the way in this trip
