The Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa was fantastic. We had an Ocean front view and looking out on the ocean from our Lanai was spectacular. Having two pools, one for Adults Only and the other for families and kids, was great. The food and drinks menu at the in house restaurants were filled with savory and creative options. We will be going back to this resort when we go back to the Big Isle

Had a wonderful stay at Outrigger. Voyager 47 Club was well worth the money - the appetizers became our dinner and the Mai Tais were the best of our Hawaiian vacation. Tessa and Zach were friendly and made us feel right at home!

"THE anniversary destination!"

This place keeps getting better and better! The renovations are beautiful and the future Duke’s Restaurant is going to be a great addition! We upgraded our stay to include the club level access and we were enjoying the included evening dinner and cocktails, which were amazing! One of the hosts, Zach, was very attentive, informative, and charismatic. The wonderful bartender, Tessa, found out that we were celebrating our fifteenth anniversary today, and when we left, she called us by name and presented us with a box of Hawaiian Host Milk Chocolate Aloha Macs. What made it most special is she wrote “Happy Anniversary” on the box and wrote the name of every staff member! It’s heartfelt gestures like that that will keep us coming back to this beautiful resort, time and time again. Tessa, Zach, thank you for making our anniversary so much more amazing!!! Outrigger is very fortunate to have wonderful people like them!

"Very Pleasantly Surprised!!"

Took a chance on the Outrigger, coming from the east coast of USA I had never heard of them. It was on Costco's travel site and I love Costco- if its good enough for Costco its good enough for me. Having a bad experience at the Hyatt hotel in Waikiki, I knew the standards of east coast Hyatt's was not applicable to Hawaii. I was very happy at the Outrigger, it was a beautiful property. Service was great, from check-in to the valet service. The only gripe I had, would be they don't have a "real" full-service restaurant. Its location to the marina is a huge plus with all the water tours you want leaving from there are within walking distance. You can tell everybody in the Hotel is trying to lift their game, very friendly and the take care of any inquires you may have.
