Really nice hotel, clean and modern common areas, beautiful grounds and walking path. The gym was one of the cleanest and well equip hotel gyms I've enjoyed. I appreciated the adult pool - it was was clean and quiet and there were always plenty of chairs. The onsite restaurant was very good - the menu was diverse and food was delicious. We selected to include the breakfast buffet in our stay, however, if you prefer a healthy breakfast, I'd recommend ordering off the menu. The buffet is expensive and is mostly full of sugar and carbs - I did appreciate the omelette station, but still think I would have preferred to order from the menu and I'm sure the cost would have been cheaper. The restaurant staff and front office staff were super friendly, but extremely slow and at times inattentive. At one point we cancelled a food order (salad and fries to go) because it took over 45 minutes. Be prepared to pay $30 a day for parking and $9 for a beer. I think this is standard for HI though. The manta ray viewing deck is currently closed. The spa is also closed. We weren't made aware of this in advance.

"Overall a great hotel"

Very clean. Beautiful grounds. Clean pool with a sandy area for kids. Not fine grained sand though, which was great so you didn’t get sand everywhere. The Water slide was nice to have and fun for the kids, but adults often came to a stop halfway down. It would be nice to see them sweep more around the loungers, as the small rocks from the beachy part of the pool were everywhere and hard on the feet, We could always get a lounger, which was nice! Rooms were basic but clean. They could’ve used more places to hang bath towels and more places to sit down inside. Beds were indeed “double” size. My husband’s feet were hanging off the end of the bed, and he is under 6’ tall. Chairs on the patio were extremely uncomfortable wicker At times, It took. 5-10 minutes to get warm/hot water in the shower. Other times it was immediately hot. This was a bit frustrating and wasted a lot of water. No soap to wash hands other than a small tube of body wash next to the sink. Our AC started making a loud clicking noise and they fixed it within 30 minutes. It was great to see that level or service and quick response time. The restaurant was a bit on the small side for the size of resort. Make reservations if you plan on having dinner at the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was, in our opinion, VERY over-priced for what you get. It’d be great to see more options to eat here so you don’t have to go into town to eat if you didn’t want to eat at the restaurant or pool all the time. Most staff were very friendly and accommodating. Overall, a nice resort and we would probably return.

Tracey-Ann at Piko was great! Phenomenal service and great food and drinks - the poolside Mai Tai is super good and the catch of the day and beef short ribs were awesome. Pool and slide are fun, drinks are good and if you have the chance do the manta ray swim, one of the coolest things I’ve ever done
