Family-friendly and offering a spa, bike rentals, and luaus, the Outrigger Kona Resort and Spa at Keauhou Bay makes for a sweet retreat for all guests. The three-story resort features 519 rooms with private balconies or patios, pillowtop bedding, mini-fridges, coffeemakers, dual-voltage adapters, LED TVs, and WiFi.

Enjoy an anytime lagoon-style pool facing the Pacific with a waterslide and sun loungers, a hot tub, and a children's area. Additional activities include volleyball, tennis, basketball, a fitness center, a game room, and bike rentals. Make sure to fit in some pampering time at Asana Spa. There are three on-site eating and drinks spots, including a Hawaiian restaurant with live entertainment, a traditional luau spot, and a poolside bar.

The resort provides a Pacific Ocean location, seven miles south of central Kailua Kona and a two-mile jaunt from Kahalu'u Beach Park. Golfers find the entrance to Kona Country Club four minutes away. This place is awesome the staff was very warm and greeted us right away. The room was in great shape clean and updated. One draw back was the water pressure in the shower was lacking but that was it everything else was wonderful. Room was very quiet did not hear anyone else around us. Ocean front view was spectacular.

The location was great. What made our time at the Outrigger Kona was the room staff. Leby was Excellent. She was excellent getting our room ready each day! The Outrigger is lucky having Leby making visitors feel special.

Great hotel and all staff provided fab customer service although understaffed on pool bar so service did take longer than it should’ve (not staff issue) also process for paying was painful and having the staff take your card/phone into the back room to pay didn’t feel quite right - again not a staff issue it’s to do with the hotels resource/process mgmt ! Exceptional fantastic outstanding from Faith on grab and go service . From Day 1 she was amazing and everyone in our group agreed - should definitely be given special recognition

Close to activities and restaurants. Pool and slide were great for the kids. The Voyager 47 lounge was worth it for our family because it made breakfast super easy and convenient. Tessa and her crew in the lounge were fantastic…super friendly at dinner and gave great recs.

The outrigger has an amazing resort in Kona. The staff there are just incredible. They all take the time to create a personal relation with the guests and always remember your name. You can tell they are truly happy to be there and ensure a great experience for all. I was there for my partners sisters wedding and they did a phenomenal job at make sure all events for the wedding were spectacular. We cannot wait to stay again at the outrigger. Faith at the breakfast cafe bar is the BEST! She always took care of us and took the time to really get to know us.
