Where do the tours start for the Red Train?
Tours begin at the Red Train Tour Station to exchange your voucher for the train pass.
When are the times for the Red Train tour?
Our Red Trains are on the road at 8:30 a.m. and run continuous loops along our 24 stops until about 5 p.m. Please plan to start your tour by 4:30 pm to be sure you get back to your starting point.
Where can I park?
FREE Parking is available at our Red Train station.
How often do the trains come by?
The Sightseeing Trains come by every 15 to 20 minutes at each of our 24 locations. One continuous, fully narrated tour completes the 24-stop loop in about 80-90 minutes.
Where are the Red Train stop points?
They will stop at: Welcome Center Train Station, Old Sugar Mill, Parking & Visitos Ctr, City Gates Train Station, St. George Street, Middle of St. George Street, Flagler Memorial Presbyterian, San Sebastian Winery, Whetstone Chocolate Factory, Flagler College & Villa Zorayda, The Lightner Museum, The Dow Museum, City Plaza, Spanish Military Hospital & Aviles St, The Oldest House, City Marina & Bayfront Golf, Castillo de San Marcos, Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Museum, Mission Nombre de Dios, The Old Senator, Fountain of Youth, The Old Jail, Fort Menendez and Fatio House Museum.
Can I bring my dog?
We do allow small dogs under 15 pounds as long as they do not disturb the tour and of course, service and guide animals certified under ADA guidelines.
Are there any restrictions? What about wheelchairs?
Our Red Trains require our guests to take one step approximately 13” off the ground. Fold-up wheelchairs and collapsible walking aids may be taken on the train, but guests must board under their own power.
What happens if it rains?
During inclement weather, our Red Train conductors will provide free ponchos for our guests. Our Red Trains will be pulled off the roads and will be directed to the safest location should extreme and dangerous weather conditions arise.
What if I’m only riding for one day?
All of our tickets for the Red Train are valid for 3 consecutive days from date of purchase.
What if I need a bathroom break?
Most of our 24 stops have public restroom facilities within a short walk. Return to your Red Train stop and another train will be by in about 15-20 minutes to pick you up and continue the tour.
What if I’m hungry and want to find a place to eat?
Many of the Red Train stops are within a short walk to dining establishments, especially Historic St. George Street, stop 5 and 7. Don’t hesitate to ask your Train conductor or check our tour map now so you can make a plan for lunch. Return to your Red Train stop afterwards and another train will be by in 15-20 minutes to pick you up and continue your tour.
If I buy the combo ticket with Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Museum is this stop on the Red Train tour?
Yes, you can get off at the Ripley’s Believe it or Not! during your Red Train tour.
When does the Ghost Train start?
Typically it starts around 8pm. We suggest you arrive 15 minutes prior to your departure time.
When does the Ripley’s Haunted Castle Tour begin?
Typically it starts around 8 to 8:30pm, we suggest arriving 10-20 minutes prior.
Is the Haunted Castle good for children?
This tour may not be appropriate for children under 8 years old.
Is the Haunted Castle a walking tour?
Yes, you will walk through the castle. We suggest taking pictures and using the EMF meters to detect paranormal activity!
