Description

Walk in the majestic calm of the redwoods. Take to the skies in a 6-seater seaplane to get the best possible view of San Francisco Bay. And relax in the bay breeze as the ferry brings you back to the City.

The Morning in Marin land, sea, and air tour begin with pickup from your hotel and a drive over the Golden Gate Bridge to the nearby wilderness of Marin County. Spend at least an hour under the canopy of redwoods in the Muir Woods National Monument, where some of the trees are over 250 feet tall and more than a thousand years old. Guests will arrive early in the Woods, before most visitors, so you can experience the serenity of the grove in peace and quiet. You also have a better chance of seeing black-tailed deer, chipmunks, coyotes, or even wild turkeys.

When you are ready, we will drive back out through the rolling green hills of the Tamalpais valley and into the Marin Headlands. Here roads cling to the cliffs above the Pacific ocean, and Red-Tailed Hawks soar in the sky. We will explore abandoned military bunkers with beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco skyline in the background before heading to the seaplane base in Sausalito.

The 30-minute seaplane flight will take you over the splendor of the greatest City in the U.S. – San Francisco! You will fly along the coast over the Golden Gate National Recreation, retracing your morning adventure over the Marin Headlands, then turn left over the legendary Golden Gate Bridge herself! Continue on above Crissy Field, Downtown San Francisco, Oracle Park – Home of the Major League Baseball World Champion San Francisco Giants – then on over the infamous island prison of Alcatraz. Finally, your flight will be completed with a pass by the historic Angel Island – the Immigrant Gateway to the West – and a smooth landing back in Sausalito’s Richardson Bay.

On your return, you will pop the cork on a champagne toast to enjoy a locally-sourced, organic lunch in the Marin sunshine and talk over the day’s adventure.

Finally, you will be dropped off in Sausalito to enjoy the village’s arty shops, funky houseboats, and charming cafes before boarding a ferry back to San Francisco’s Pier 39.
