"Best Union Square Hotel"

Best place to stay in Union Square hands down. Price is good and the quality of the rooms and the amenities are fantastic. The surrounding neighborhood is fine. It's not dangerous but be mindful of your surroundings late at night. You're within walking distance to Market Street to get on a bus or take the BART. Staff is amazing.

This was truly one of the nicest hotels with the best service I’ve experienced in a while. The Imperial Lounge rooms were fantastic and beautifully decorated. The cleaning staff were very friendly and left the rooms immaculate and the turndown was a great treat. Would recommend if you are staying in San Francisco.

"Some very bright spots, but price did not line up with quality."

Parts of the hotel are exceptional and very high quality. The gym and pool area are awesome, especially since indoor pools of this size are pretty rare in San Francisco. The room was just ok, with the bathroom especially lacking appeal and quality, and for the price, you would expect much more than ok. The shower head was very old and calcified, causing the water to spray inconsistently, and for a hotel of this quality and rating, the bathroom was a big disappointment. The largest issue was the bed, which initially felt decent, but caused us to get very little sleep over our 2-night stay averaging 2-3 hours per night. Lastly, we had brunch reservations at the restaurant on Sunday because it used to be an immensely popular brunch partnered with a local radio station. But when we arrived at 11 am on Sunday and not a single person was seated for brunch, we decided to cancel and go somewhere else.

Stylish immaculate comfortable rooms, helpful and friendly staff, fantastic pool, everything I needed where and when I needed it. Comfortable bed (slept away my jetlag!), more pillows than I could possibly want, great bathroom... I have stayed here before and I will come back again.

From the moment I arrived to the moment I departed, I felt incredibly well cared for. The room service, housekeeping, front desk staff, valet team, and the friendly greeters on the ground floor all went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. When I needed to extend my stay by two nights due to issues at London Heathrow, the process was seamless, and the kind gentleman at the front desk alleviated all my worries. The room was fantastic, and the hotel's cleanliness was impeccable. The gym facilities were also among the best I’ve ever used. I’ll definitely be returning — thank you once again!
