What a true find in a city with a lot of self-promoting luxury properties. From the first interaction with one of the most professional front desk managers (Justin) ever, to the immaculate suite with a fantastic view, to a nice getaway club (Imperial) lounge and the sincere hospitality of 20+ year team member, Luis, this was a perfect stay all around. The staff was very well trained and very friendly at every interaction. Simply wonderful and truly professional.

"Impressed!"

I want to say big thanks to Michael at the front desk. I have quite difficult name and surname, not easy to read or say. He only looked very quickly at my driver’s license, and right away he wrote it perfectly by hand. Later when I saw him again he called me by my name correctly. I was very impressed by his skills and memory. It made me feel very welcome. Thank you Michael for this great service!

"Exceptional Value and Impeccable Cleanliness – A Hidden Gem in SF!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed July 01, 2025 NEW
Hotel Nikko is hands down the best hotel in San Francisco under $350 a night. The Japanese-level cleanliness, attention to detail, and especially the bathroom standards are beyond impressive — far exceeding many U.S. 5-star chains I've stayed at. The staff were warm, professional, and made check-in seamless. The room was spotless, quiet, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made my stay feel luxurious. If you're looking for high standards, comfort, and value in the heart of the city — this is the place. I’ll absolutely be returning on my next visit to SF.
