"Could not have been better"

Wonderful, personal service. Perfect SF location. Rose to all the challenges of meeting needs in a large family gathering. This hotel was the gathering place for friends and family from around the country for a special event - our son's marriage. From Kasumi's helping us organize (including showing us four suites before we decided on which to use as our hospitality room) to dealing with all our varied needs during 3-5 night stays, the welcome could not have been better. The hotel is close to Union Square and the Powell and Market cable car turnaround. SFMOMA and the MLK Memorial are ten minute walks away. While no breakfast is served, there are plenty of neighborhood options for breakfast and other dining. It is an older hotel, but with only minimal hitches (we found that we had to get the keys changed every few days; valet parking worked great, but needed 20 min notice). Also price was good - great value. We are very grateful for Abri having made a special event more special.

"Rooms feel like Bedrooms and not Hotel Rooms! I loved it!"

The hotel was quiet, clean, and the front desk staff were super attentive. Rooms feel like a B&B rather than the coldness of a modern room. None of those cold millennial grey colors. The only negative was not breakfast, but there was grab n go snacks. Perfect, and I mean perfect location in Union Square.

"Downtown convenience"

Simple fare but the room and price are fair. The Waymo self-drive vehicles made it easy to get around downtown too without a cab or shuttle. Would stay here again.

"August stay 3/10"

Currently second night here , so far the experience has not been the greatest, the room gets loud with the cars passing by . The room is small , looked bigger online pictures listed . The restroom is small . TV has only some channels , no Netflix or YouTube etc…They had no one bring up our bags to help us . The valet parking $74 is a scam . Only great side of it is, it’s clean .

I loved the king room, which seemed like a small apartment. It was very cozy. My stay was for 6 nights; the bed was not comfortable for that extended period of time. I probably would not have noticed if my stay had been shorter. The cleaning staff was less than desirable: I asked that my room be cleaned on day 3 and the maid, hung my dirty towels back up that were on the floor, and did not change the sheets on my bed, which had dirt from my clothing. I was sitting in the lobby and the older guy that worked the front desk began to antagonize me: "Are you waiting for someone? Are you waiting for a ride? Why are you sitting here? Me: I have a room here. Do you want to see my license and look my room up? Him: No. You've been sitting there for a while. Me: No let me show you my license so you can look my room up because I don't want no mess. Him: No that's okay. But he didn't hesitate to take my license and look my room up either. Of course he wasn't my color. Everything else was great and the staff was friendly and helpful, including helping me super glue my glasses that I broke. :-) I would stay again because it is so close to the trolley, trans and bus line; it made it easy to commute and I save a lot of money not having to Lyft everywhere. Buy the $47 pass if you are going to be there any length of time.
