The hotel was clean. The staff was all very nice. Getting to the front door to unload was challenging due to lack of parking. Parking is in a parking structure on the next block. The lobby and coffee area were nicely updated. The rooms were small but clean. The air conditioning was loud and didn’t cool the room. The pillows sucked. They offered no support. The bathroom was very small and had no counter-space. The shower was also small with a shower curtain. The neighborhood was loud due to the fire station around the corner. We probably won’t stay at this property again unless it undergoes room upgrades.

Location was convenient, Pub next door was one of the highlights. Front desk professional were fantastic and helpful. The room was outdated and tired especially for the price. No special in room, simple amenities like a bottle of water.

We had a great time in SF and this hotel was perfect for us. We had extra needs because one of us was disabled from a recent accident and the staff helped us in many ways. We loved our room, we loved the location and loved walking in every direction. There were only 2 problems…one was the parking was not on site and it became very inconvenient one night when we got back late and the nearest garage was closed. We found the other garage about 3 blocks away…wouldn’t normally matter except I was in fancy shoes and my husband has a disability and we were unprepared to walk that much, so it was unpleasant. The other problem is that the GPS takes you to the side street, not the front door, and this can be a problem when the traffic is bad because all the one-way streets make it take a long time to get around and over to the front. But the hotel itself is lovely, with nice rooms, a nice coffee hour and a great location.

We book family there annually , and have for five years.All are pleased with the location, staff and amenities. We are delighted with the price of rooms. While we haven’t seen a room, we have spent some time in the beautiful lobby, complete with espresso and coffee for hotel guests, and a living room ambiance complete with a warming fireplace.
