This Death Valley tour includes a professionally trained guide, picnic lunch, bottled water, and a fully-guided excursion that includes stops at Badwater Basin, Death Valley National Park, Mojave Desert, Devil's Golf Course, and a 360-degree view from Dante's View.
Your guide will pick you up at the lobby of the hotel unless otherwise noted on your confirmation. Most hotels require Pink Jeep Tours to go to specific locations for pick-ups. See your hotel concierge for exact location.
It is customary to tip the guide. Gratuity is based on individual preference but 15% is the industry standard.
We recommend wearing comfortable outdoor clothing with closed toe shoes. You may want to bring a hat and layered clothing.
Sunscreen and a hat. Don't forget to bring a camera! A purse or standard sized backpack are acceptable, however, there is no storage space in Pink Adventures' Tour Trekker vehicles. Anything you bring needs to fit comfortably in your lap throughout the tour.
Full meals or glass bottles are prohibited on the Tour Trekker vehicle. If necessary you are welcome to bring a small containable snack such as a granola bar. Due to Nevada law, alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the vehicles.
For the comfort of all guests, items prohibited include, but are not limited to, firearms, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, drones, glass containers, alcohol, coolers, professional video equipment, illegal substances, guns, weapons of any kind, or cremated remains.
Although our tours are intimate due to vehicle size, there will likely be other guests on the tour. Open air Jeeps accommodate up to 9 guests. Enclosed vehicles accommodate up to 10 guests.
A fun, safe and educational experience! All of our guides are extensively trained in the flora, fauna, geology and history of the area. They are CPR certified, Smith System Driver Safety trained (driver training course) and First Aid certified. Most of our guides are also Certified Interpretive Guides! They will conduct their tour professionally while educating you on the area, all while having a fun and entertaining time.
Yes. Complimentary pick-up for this tour is offered at most hotels on the Las Vegas strip.
Minimum child age for day tours is 3 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Yes! Pink Adventure Tours' guides are highly trained in how to maneuver the vehicles, and have been thoroughly trained in 4X4 techniques. The guides are also Smith System Safety and Compliance for road safety, and are also CPR and first aid certified.
Pets are not allowed on this tour. Service animals are permitted.
All guests must have upper body strength with the ability to hold themselves up during the tour. Guests are responsible for getting themselves in and out of the vehicles.
Collapsible wheelchairs are permitted when the guest is accompanied by another adult to assist in boarding and disembarking.
Stops on this tour include brief mild walks on flat, well-maintained paths and/or walkways.
Tours operate rain or shine. Rainfall is generally very short lived, and may offer the chance for you to see rainbows over the desert. Pink Adventure Tours carries rain ponchos on the vehicles in case of inclement weather. In the case of extreme weather, Pink Jeep Tours reserves the right to modify, shorten or cancel any tour to prevent damage to trails or avoid unsafe conditions.
The Tour Trekker is a fully-enclosed vehicle. Due to various stops conducted on this tour, we recommend you wear a hat, sunscreen and bring a bottle of water.
This tour is conducted in an enclosed Tour Trekker vehicle. There is air conditioning and heating in these vehicles.
No, this tour takes you into remote areas where internet service and often cell phone service are not available. They recommend that guests switch their phones to airplane mode during the tour so they can use the camera functions without draining the battery (due to the phone searching for a signal).
