Description

After a quick ride from your Las Vegas hotel in one of Pink Adventure Tours' custom Tour Trekker vehicles, you’ll be ready to explore Red Rock Canyon. Encompassing about 197,000 acres, the area features a wide range of ecosystems, wildlife, and multicolored views. The stunning landscape has served as the backdrop for dozens of films and your guide will share more insight into the park’s place in film history.

The first stop is the Visitor’s Center. Here, you may encounter charming desert tortoises in a protected habitat. You might even meet Mojave Max, the official mascot of the Mojave Desert. Browse more informative exhibits and shop for keepsakes.

Part of the Keystone Thrust, the Wilson Cliffs are 3,000 feet high and are a popular hiking and climbing destination. Thousands of years ago, Wilson Cliffs’ towering walls were the perfect canvas for tribal artwork. Your Certified Interpretive Guide will explain the meaning and history of these ancient pictographs.

Home to an impressive array of plants and wildlife, The Spring Mountains’ rich biodiversity thrives thanks to nearby springs that give the mountains their name. Don’t forget to ask your guide about the ponderosa pines and hundreds of plant species that flourish here.

Awaiting you near the end of your tour, the Calico Hills is truly a grand finale. These rock formations are ancient dunes with fossils of animals and plants preserved within their layers. Water is stored in natural tanks, which feed the area’s unique ecosystem. Depending on the time of day, you’ll see why these hills are named “Calico;” a kaleidoscope of pinks, reds, and oranges shift with the changing light.

Before ending your incredible day, take the paved trail up to Red Rock Overlook. You’ll see all the landmarks from your tour at once and leave with incredible photos and memories of your beautiful Southwest adventure. Don’t forget to ask your expert guide any lingering questions on the ride back to your hotel.

We had a Wonderful time on this tour of death valley. We were so surprised to find out it was just my wife and my self on the trip. When we mentioned this, we were told that this company will never cancel a trip due to low numbers as they know how disappointed people would be if this happened. Mike, the guide was amazing , funny and full of information. he could not do enough for us. The jeep was very comfortable with room for 11 but only had us two, air con worked well and best of all it could go off road so Mike took us to places bus tours , cars can not go. Water and lunch was provided with plenty of rest stops to break up the day. Highly recommend this company

"Grand Canyon South Rim Tour - A Must Do!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5.0 out of 5

As a solo female traveler, I was slightly apprehensive about a 12-hour tour. But let me tell you, Pink Jeep Tours knocked it out of the park – or should I say, canyon? I lucked out with a private tour to the Grand Canyon's South Rim. My guides, Don and Leah, were the dynamic duo I never knew I needed. Don, a walking encyclopedia, sprinkled our journey with fascinating tidbits about everything from Route 66 to the intricate history of Boulder City. Meanwhile, Leah, the friendliest guide-in-training, became my personal photographer at the canyon stops. The Pink Jeep experience was like road-tripping with cool, knowledgeable friends. They adapted the tour to keep things lively, making me feel like a VIP rather than a third wheel. From hotel pickup to drop-off, every detail was covered. Pit stops? Check. Snacks and hydration? Double-check. Safety and comfort? Absolutely. The Grand Canyon itself? Breathtaking doesn't even begin to cover it. Three viewpoint stops later, and I'm still in awe. If you're on the fence about spending 12 hours on a tour, just do it. This Pink Jeep adventure was worth every minute, offering a perfect blend of education, entertainment, and jaw-dropping views. Solo travelers, fear not – you're in for a treat!
