Located in historic Grant Park, minutes from downtown Atlanta.
Plan to spend about 3 hours.
A wide range of kid-friendly rides and activities are offered.
Many of the Zoo’s animals are more active – and visible – in the morning or during scheduled feedings.
Parking rates are $3 an hour, $12 per day.
Consider arriving early in warmer weather to beat the crowds.
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Various eateries are available throughout the Zoo.

The electric wheelchairs are limited in number and available for rental on a first-come, first-served basis. - Manual wheelchair: $14 + tax/day - Electric cart: $33 + tax/day. *Minimum age to rent an electric wheelchair is 18. No age restriction for manual wheelchair rentals. A driver’s license will be retained as a deposit.

Are strollers available for rent?

Yes, Single stroller: $11 + tax; Double stroller: $13 + tax.

Can I bring my camera?

Yes, there are plenty of photo opportunities.

Can you bring food into Zoo Atlanta?

Can I bring my pet?

Service animals are allowed. Zoo Atlanta’s Service Animal Admittance Policy defines service animals as dogs or miniature horses who are trained to perform a specific task for an individual with a disability. Emotional support animals and other animals are not permitted on Zoo grounds.

What items are prohibited to bring?

The list of prohibited items include: - Weapons or sharp objects - Alcoholic beverages brought from outside the zoo - Drones - Fireworks or explosive substances - Skateboard or scooters - Glass containers - Straws and lids
