Georgia Aquarium is located in downtown Atlanta at 225 Baker Street, across the street from the north end of Centennial Olympic Park. If you’re driving and planning to park onsite, use the following street address for a direct route to Georgia Aquarium parking: 357 Luckie Street, NW Atlanta, GA 30313.
If you want to see the entire aquarium, three to four hours is recommended. Weekends are busiest times, so be sure to arrive early.
Yes, covered and rooftop parking is available at the official Georgia Aquarium parking deck, located at 357 Luckie Street, NW Atlanta, GA 30313. Entrances are located on Luckie Street and Ivan Allen Jr. Boulevard. Discounted parking for Aquarium guests is $11 for members and $12 for non-members. The general parking rate is $17.
Standard operating hours are Monday – Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday – Sunday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. They have extended hours during the summer and holidays, and will occasionally close the aquarium early for private events. The last ticket sold and entry is one hour before closing.
There are no guns, knives, matches, lighters, fishing poles, outside food, beverages, balloons, disposable drinking straws or gum allowed inside Georgia Aquarium. Pets are not allowed. Only guide dogs for the blind, service dogs for people with disabilities and working dogs in training are permitted inside Georgia Aquarium. Emotional support animals are not permitted The aquarium has bottle filling stations located throughout the building, and encourage you to bring your refillable bottles and reusable drinking straws during your visit.

Guests may exit and reenter Georgia Aquarium during their visit by getting their ticket stamped at the Information desk.

No outside food or beverages are permitted in the aquarium with the exception of small snacks for children or visitors with food allergies. The aquarium has several water bottle filling stations and encourage guests to bring a refillable water bottle for your visit.
Strollers are allowed throughout the aquarium. To help ease guest flow and reduce congestion, they encourage leaving your stroller at home if possible. If a stroller is required, please be mindful of stroller size. The use of large strollers is discouraged. Complimentary stroller check is available at each theater. They do not have strollers for rent at this time.
Yes, cameras are permitted for personal use only. However the use of flash is prohibited in the presence of some animals. Please refrain from taking photos in the sea lion and dolphin presentations, and in the 4D theater.
