The Private Welcome to Atlanta tour is approximately 2.5 hours.
This tour includes tickets to the SkyView Atlanta, a local English-speaking guide, and an expertly guided walking tour. You will be seeing and touring the following areas, most notably in the Sweet Auburn district: (1) Martin Luther King in Auburn Avenue, one of several buildings that make up the Martin Luther King Jr National Historic Site (2) Ebenezer Baptist Church where Dr. King was baptized and where his funeral was held (3) Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) Headquarters which was an agency created to coordinate several civil rights movements (4) King Center an institution honoring MLK (5) The John Wesley Dobbs Plaza to honor the "Mayor of Auburn Avenue" (6) Centennial Olympic Park and its famous Olympic Rings, the legacy of the Olympics Games of 1996
This is a family-friendly, guided walking tour. Transportation, food & drinks, and other ticket entrances not mentioned is not included in this highlights of Atlanta tour.
There is free parking near the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park which is near the departure point. There are also multiple garages nearby that charge according to length of stay, time of the day, and day of the week. You can also contact the phone number on your e-ticket to ask for advice on how to get to the departure point via car or public transport.
This tour is suitable for all ages. All guests must be at moderate physical fitness as the majority of the Tour of Atlanta will be spent walking. Accommodations can be made according to need of the guests.
