Located off I-20 just west of Atlanta, Six Flags Over Georgia is known as the "thrill capital of the South." Among over a dozen of its thrill rides, thrill-seekers won't want to miss Twisted Cyclone. This classic wooden structure is combined with a modern, steel track for multiple inversions and a smoother, more thrilling riding experience.

New for 2025: Launching this year is the Georgia Gold Rusher, the new gold standard for fun. The first of its kind free-spinning gondola riding experience on Georgia Gold Rusher delivers the ultimate thrill combo of a high-speed, high-elevation ride with twists, turns, and exciting water features.

Don't miss JUSTICE LEAGUE™: Battle for Metropolis, the first interactive ride with the 3D animation and a 4D ride experience; SkyScreamer, a swing ride that spins around a 242-foot tower at speeds up to 40 mph; Mind Bender, a triple-loop roller coaster; Dare Devil Dive, a coaster with a steeper-than-vertical plunge and three inversions; and Thunder River, a white-water rafting adventure.

Among its other exhilarating coasters are Superman™: Ultimate Flight, which turns riders upside down in a pretzel-shaped loop; Batman™: The Ride, which carries visitors through loops and a corkscrew spin; The Georgia Scorcher, said to be one of the region's tallest and fastest stand-up roller coasters; and the towering Goliath, that sits at over 200 feet tall and travels up to 70 mph. Adults and kids alike will enjoy the surprises in Monster Mansion.

DC™ Super Friends and Bugs Bunny Boomtown are two areas designed for kids that have 12 rides and attractions including a bouncing drop tower, a small coaster, an interactive water ride, and a Ferris wheel. "Buy a fast pass for the pandemonium!"

Got tickets from the fun express site for like close to $40 before tax. I went with my sisters family for just the day. Halloween rides were already in motion. Really wanted to experience a slingshot but Georgia didn't have that. They had other rides though like the superman and 3 or 4 other roller coasters. It's good to download the app to just to see where the rides are and you can filter them out too. Each ride you can leave personal belongings to the side while you ride. Not to sound racist but I noticed most, if not all the staff were black people.. which I love to see. I'm Filipino but I feel like I should've been black. Maybe my soul was in my previous life. But anyway, we had a blast! Oh, and one tip. If you're planning to ride the pandemonium.. you'll probably benefit from the fast pass or else you'll be waiting for about 2 hours before you reach the finish line. It was worth the wait though.

I attended Six Flags over Georgia Boo Fest Saturday, October 25th, 2025. I purchased online tickets for my granddaughter (5 yrs. old) and myself, on Friday the 24th. Due to the scary monsters that come out at 6 pm, my plan was to have her out by 6:00 pm. Our plan was to arrive at the park at 12:00 pm and leave at 6:00 pm. After purchasing the General Ticket I was asked if I wanted to add on a Flash Pass, which I did. I was then asked if I wanted to pay for preferred parking, and did that as well. I received an email from Six Flags telling me to "Activate" the fast pass through an online link using a ticket receipt number. However, nowhere on the receipts was anything identified as a "receipt" or ticket" number. There were lots of numbers, but nothing labeled ticket or receipt number. So I could not activate it. We arrived and could not locate "preferred parking" nor could anyone prior to the official entrance gates for general parking tell us where "preferred parking" was located. We were directed to the General Parking line. Once I reached the parking attendant I explained the situation. She asked for the QR Code on the General Parking receipt, which I showed. She handed me a general parking ticket and told me to move forward - no explanation, no refund. We entered the park and after speaking to a guest services agent about stroller rental and the fast pass issue, he recommended we go rent the stroller first to ensure we got one. We went to rent a stroller. As we approached that area there was a long line. We heard several guests asking if the line for Guest Relations was the right line for wheelchair and stroller rental. After about 30 minutes, a person behind me went several feet down into a room, came out and told everyone that was renting strollers or wheelchairs that we were in fact, not in the correct line. I went down to a room, no signage and the nothing to indicate it was where it was. I rented a stroller from a very curt and rude young lady. I then went back to the Guest Services Line to figure out the activation issue. 45 minutes later i reach this person who tells me to go to the Fast Pass office to resolve the issue. I go to that office, wait another 30 minutes. When I reach this staff person, she cannot solve the problem. She finally offers to "submit a refund", and tells me to repurchase the fast pass. She also tells me to take a photo of the "refund submission" form. I ask her if my granddaughter needs a fast pass. She tells me to look at the list of rides in the under 48" category that take the pass. I do, and while it was not many, but this time we are at 2:00! So in order for her to ride anything we had to purchase the passes. I purchased 2 fast passes at $200 each. The first ride went fine (Monster Mansion). The second ride (Wonder Woman) went fine. But when we went up the fast pass lane for the Joker Kiddie coaster, the staff person tells us they no longer take fast passes for this ride. What? It is on their app, on their site, signing everywhere - but she still says no. We wait one hour to ride the Joker. This went on several other times. She ended up riding a few rides but due to the issues upon our arrival, we lost 2 hours just dealing with the technology issues their staff had with the fast pass I bought the day before. I had not been to six flags over georgia in a few years - I was shocked at the condition of the park and the condition of the rides. The park was run down, flowers hanging in planters were dead, the bathrooms were filthy and run down. Most of the staff were apathetic and unhelpful (with the exception of the face painters). Many of their beverage dispensers and ice dispensers were "Out of Order". It was overall a really bad guest experience. I ended up spending about $700 in total. I made the best out of a bad situation for my granddaughter, but I can assure you we will not be coming back. I live in Birmingham - and have gone to this park almost my entire life (more than 45 years). I have never seen it so bad. Do not waste your time, your money, or your day at this park. You would be better off at ANY other local fair or amusement park than this one. I so hope whoever is running this park can turn this around. It is a shame to see such a landmark fall into this kind of disrepair and disregard. There is literally no pride coming from anyone in this park.

"Absolutely the worst."

We visited Six Flags with family and friends to celebrate my son’s 13th birthday — an occasion that was supposed to be fun and memorable. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing and unsettling experiences we’ve ever had at a theme park. To begin, we purchased the Ultimate Fast Pass along with daily admission including the Halloween theme, expecting a smooth and enjoyable day. Instead, half of the rides were closed or frequently delayed due to technical difficulties. Despite paying nearly $200 for the Fast Pass, we still waited 25+ minutes per ride — completely defeating its purpose. The park staff appeared overwhelmed and unprepared for the crowd size. We spent over $600 on the all-you-can-eat passes, yet found ourselves waiting 30 minutes or more in food lines, with little organization or efficiency. Things took a disturbing turn when we visited the first haunted house. One of the performers accused our group — which consisted primarily of children under 12 and two adults — of inappropriate behavior. This accusation was completely false and incredibly upsetting, especially to the kids. To make matters even worse, the night ended with a physical altercation involving a large, heavy-set Black male employee (around 6’2”) who identified himself as “Reed.” This individual assaulted a member of our group, leaving our children frightened and shaken. We spent over $1,000 expecting a memorable birthday celebration — instead, we were met with poor operations, disorganization, false accusations, and physical aggression from park personnel. We will be pursuing charges against the individual involved, and we strongly urge Six Flags management to review this incident seriously. Families deserve to feel safe and respected when visiting your park. At this point, I cannot recommend this location to anyone considering a visit.

My favorite place on earth since the 1960s, but close to 15 years since I’d been. Very disappointed that the log ride nor Thunder River were open the 2 days that we went. Also wish the hours of operation were as long as they used to be. But the park itself is still awesome!

I have been to this park many times, and it is one of my favorite parks. This past visit was not quite so stellar. A friend and I included this on our vacation this year. The merger of Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks last year raised some concerns for me, and I have seen parks from both chains stumble some from their usual standards. Some of the rides here were closed for the day. The ones that were operating seemed to be running well. Most employees were friendly, and the park was generally clean. The main incident on this visit was with the food service. I stopped at a restaurant at the back of the park, Miner's Smokehouse, I believe. I asked for a hamburger instead of a cheeseburger. I was told they could NOT make a burger without cheese. I asked them if they were serious. They were. Really?? How hard is it not to put cheese on one burger. The supervisor there said it would disrupt their flow. I left. I went to guest services to place a complaint. When I spoke to a supervisor about what happened, the supervisor said that they could not make a burger without cheese. Unbelievable!! She said only one restaurant in the park could make a burger without cheese. Now, how are your guests supposed to know which ones? On all the menus at all the restaurants which served burgers only listed cheeseburgers. Who wants to search the whole park trying to find that one restaurant to accommodate you?? What they failed to remember is that not everyone likes cheese nor can eat cheese/dairy products. And why should people be forced to get chicken tenders or something else when they want a burger?? I never had a problem last year at this park getting a burger without cheese. The supervisor finally did get me a burger without cheese, but it was an annoyance and a hassle. I do like this park, but the managers need to do better!!
