"Costly Experience on Earth"

The Sphere experience was above average. The graphics and the visualisation, along with the special effects extending to the seats were a nice touch. The concept of the movie - Postcard from Earth was quite a heart warming concept. On the other hand, it felt like an extension of an IMAX experience, where you have similar screen and seat experience. Just that sphere was way more costlier than a IMAX movie experience!

**🔥 "Postcards from Earth" at The Sphere: A Hypocritical, Recycled Snoozefest** If you’re thinking about seeing *Postcards from Earth* at The Sphere — don’t. It’s a **$100+ ticket to a recycled TED Talk**, played on a fancy screen with some drone footage and AI whispering pseudo-wisdom in your ear. They call it art. I call it **a glorified PowerPoint** dressed up in LED glitter. What’s the message? That humans are bad. We’ve ruined the planet. Nature is good. Blah blah blah. Heard it before? Exactly. There’s **nothing new here** — just the same doom-and-guilt narrative that’s been parroted for decades, now amplified inside the most **wasteful, power-hungry, billion-dollar monument to excess ever built**. Let’s talk about *real hypocrisy*: You're in Las Vegas — the glowing, air-conditioned, neon-drenched capital of overconsumption — sitting in a **$2.3 billion orb covered in 1.2 million LED lights**, being told you need to do better. You *paid* over $100 to be scolded. And not even in an original way. No soul. No storyline. Just bland CGI, stitched-together stock footage, and a patronizing message that completely ignores its own setting. It’s like being lectured on water conservation while standing in the Bellagio fountains. You want awe? Go to a live concert. See a Cirque show. Watch U2 use this venue the *way it was meant to be used* — for *feeling*, not finger-wagging. **Final Verdict: The only thing *this* film saves is the cost of writing something new. Skip it. The Sphere deserves better — and so do you.**

"Don’t Waste Your Money"

This “attraction” is ridiculously priced for what it is. $115 per person just to get in, so we’ve already spent $460 before even stepping foot inside. (These were even discounted tickets; you can spend $230+ per person on their website for the exact same experience, but I digress.) Upon arriving, we were told that we couldn’t bring in our backpack and had to PAY for a locker. $11.86, even though I’ve already paid to be here. Our single bottle of water then cost $7.04. We went in and it was very crowded, so many people around the robots that we couldn’t get close. So we made our way to the theater, thinking we could check out the atrium some more after the show. The seating is so narrow and so steep that if the person you’re trying to squeeze past on the way to your seat doesn’t stand up to let you pass, you will fall into the row in front of you. While the size of the screen and the picture quality were impressive, the movie is nothing special. It’s a lecture on how we’re destroying our planet. When the movie ended, literally every employee and every digital sign was pointing everyone out the doors. The atrium was completely roped off and closed. It could not have been more obvious that they wanted everyone to get out as quickly as possible. I have never been ushered out of a venue like that before. If you didn’t get to see the robots before hand, stinks for you. All in all, this is the most expensive 45-minute movie I have ever seen. Don’t waste your money. There are dozens of other things on the Strip you could spend your money on that would be a better experience. Just watch the exterior animations on the outside of the Sphere and call it a day.

It is mind boggling good! The staff are very friendly. There are pre show activities with robots, sounds, food and drinks. Souvenir drink bottle is a nice treat when you buy soda. I have travelled to most places shown there. The 4D effect is fantastic. So steep sitting. If you have fear of heights or vertigo, this is not for you.

Save money, time, and a migraine - don’t go unless you’re going to a concert. Postcard from Earth was a joke: $115 to wait through disorganized security, not get close to AI robots because of the crowd, buy overpriced soda, just to make it to your seats for a 45 minute “film.” If you’ve been to an IMAX, you’ve done this before. The volume of the film, now that’s something truly ground breaking…unless you’ve ever been a baggage handler at an airport, prepare yourself for a level of noise you’ve never encountered. Think Indy Car race…but nonstop.
