Description

The Grand Baja Tour is also known as the "Baja Lobster Tour" and operates every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturdays.

In our Baja Mexico Grand Tour, your adventure begins as we cross into Mexico and visit Tijuana, the fourth largest city in Mexico.

We will go on a cultural sightseeing tour of the area with stops at the Cultural Center, the Tijuana Bullring, the Tijuana Zoo, the Tijuana Tower and then time for some shopping along Avenida Revolution. This street is the main shopping Mecca south of the border with more than 400 different types of shops that will entice you to bargain like the locals for your Mexican curios.

Then it's off to Puerto Nuevo Lobster Village, once a small fisherman town, it is now home to over 50 different restaurants offering the specialty of the house, Puerto Nuevo style lobster meals. This lobster meal is a Pacific Ocean Lobster deep fried to perfection, served with unlimited rice, beans, and a welcome Margarita!

After lunch (included) enjoy some time to relax along the Pacific Ocean as Mariachis serenade you.

After this memorial experience, we will travel to Rosarito Beach which was once the Mexican Hollywood during the 1920's. Now it is a blooming beachside community with endless opportunities to visit the beach, go horseback riding or ATV riding along the sandy beaches.

After Rosarito Beach, we'll travel back to San Diego on a scenic road.

"Great experience using Five Star Tours"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

We were picked up on time for our tour of Temecula wineries by Alfonso who stocked the vehicle with snacks and water for our one hour drive. From there, he chose several places to visit, but asked if we had already been so he could adjust our itinerary. He set up private tours at two places, and selected a great place for lunch. We enjoyed chatting with him, and learning so such about the area and the other tours they provide. Highly recommend using them,

"DO NOT USE FOR BAG STORAGE"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed August 06, 2024
During my trip to San Diego, I made a booking to store my bag with Five Star Tours via Radical Storage, so I wouldn't have to carry my bag around the city with me for the day prior to leaving. I was led to believe that I was renting a personal, storage locker. When I arrived at the location (Santa Fe Station), there were no lockers to be seen. I received an email from an unfamiliar email that told me to give them a call regarding my storage reservation. I called the number, and the person on the other line directed me to a vacant room in the train station with a keypad lock. He gave me the code and the door opened to reveal a vacant office with bags, strollers, and garbage all over the place. He told me that I was to leave my bag here and that I could retrieve it using that code at any time. I was carrying a valuable laptop, as well as many important personal belongings, so I didn't feel comfortable leaving my bag in this room where anybody with the code would be able to open it. I ended up using Amtrak's baggage storage service instead. When I attempted to contact Radical Storage, the day following the incident, I received an automated reply from a bot saying that they do not issue refunds unless there was an emergency. They advertise 24/7 customer service, but I have not been able to get in contact with someone yet despite calling, chatting, and emailing them. I would absolutely NOT recommend their services to any traveler.

"Canceled Trip Issue"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed July 18, 2024
We were booked on the Five Star San Diego Tour on 7/117 at 9:30 AM. 33 hours before the tour was to depart we were sent an email advising us that the tour was canceled and we will be given a refund. No offer of another cruise. I sent back an email asking to be booked on the faternoon tourr and got a message back “No Tour”. If I hadd canceled the tour 33 hours before ddeparture I would not have been given a credit. I would never book a tour with this company again.
