The location and charm of this hotel is worth the stay. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were adorable and quite comfortable. It felt upscale with a budget price. Shower pressure was great. The bed was a bit stiff. Morning coffee station was nice. I will gladly stay here again.

A historical building converted into a hotel. Like Castles in Europe converted into a hotel, it is a bit dated. the hallways were dimmed and furnitures were dated and even scratched. The gym was dark and cramped and without water; there was a bathroom so I guess you can get water from the facet. It is extremely convenient for business trips though. Great location to Gas Lamp district for entertainment and dinning.

"Not worth the price point!"

Might as well save your money and go to the Quality Inn, because you’ll be getting the same experience. The building is extremely old, and as a result you can hear everything in nearby rooms - even talking. Although the Sofia Hotel is obviously reaching toward being a “nice” hotel with a spa and resort fees, the quality of basic amenities (like the bedding, linens, and bathrooms) is poor. Oh, and if you have a car, expect that to bump up your total added fees to $75/night, because while the resort fees are relatively low, parking is $40 per day.

"liars - they will overcharge you when you check in and have no other choice"

They lie about the resort fees, completely ignore what you were told or already paid to Expedia or other booking companies, and won't give you a bill at checkout. I dont need more than 200 characters to warn others away from ever booking this terribly run limited service hotel that charges you a resort fee when you cannot even get a coffee because there is no restaurant in the stupid place.
