"Fantastic architectural tour"

This tour was better than the previous chores we’ve ever done Patrick on the sea dog taught us more in 75 minutes that I’ve learned in 25 years. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave us thorough insight to the architectural wonders of Chicago, especially along the river. This tour gave us not only a river tour and we were able to look at all the buildings, but also took us out on the lake so we had a beautiful city view

"Huge waste of time and money"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed May 17, 2022
Shameful waste of money and time. Hornblower is taking full liberties with the term "cruise". The boat slowly moves up and down Navy pier...upgraded to first class seating, menu, and unlimited drinks. Disappointing is an understatement. Meal was awful raw vegetables in half and half slop. Dessert was honeydew and a few strawberries...no sauce no garnish. "Unlimited" drinks were a single round...that's $150 for two drinks (one each) and two glasses of champagne (again one each). Bar service does not honor first class upgrade, so we ended up spending $300 for 2 drinks each...Nightclubs don't rip you off that bad. DJ/dancefloor available for final 10 minutes of evening. Do not waste your money.

"Valentine’s Day Cruise"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed February 16, 2019
The vessel itself is beautiful. We went on Valentine’s Day and it was pretty cold in Chicago. We did go to the observation deck. The view is breathtaking. Our waiter Elmer was very sweet. We were even upgraded to a window seat!! The menu was sexy for the holiday which included the filet and shrimp. The ride is a little long especially when the vessel itself is freezing. Some heat lamps or space heaters needed. The food was ok, a little bland but that’s personal for me. Overall I’d certainly ride again.

"Night Cruise"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed October 08, 2018
Took the cruise Friday night 10/5/18. We were a group of six. From the boarding process to disembarking the staff and crew did a great job. The food was actually quite good. I had been told the food may not be the greatest, but this was not the case at all. Our server who goes by the Nickname of "Rage" was a complete blast. She really added to the overall atmosphere of our group. I can't say enough good things about her. If I had anything negative to say, it would be that the drinks were poured a little weak at first, IMO. However I mentioned it to Rage and that problem was fixed. I would definitely do this again!

"Brand new boat with great food and drinks"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed October 03, 2018
Brand new glass top boat, food was great as were the drinks. Once they work the kinks with the food service that come with any new crew it will be even better. Only negative was they had too many tables set up and we were packed in like sardines, didn't know if it was because we had a large group that booked the whole boat and they added extra tables. Called to ask and be fair about what I wrote but no one called back from Odyssey. I would definitely go back for another cruise but would not hesitate to refuse to be seated in such a uncomfortable manner.
