I generally return to this hotel when in Chicago. It has a wonderful, friendly staff. The suites, while small, are two rooms. A very nice Australian-themed restaurant has been added called Chapel Street Cafe. There is a nice bar small restaurant. The food during my breakfast visit was excellent. My only complaint is that when you eat in the dining room and charge your check to the room, they add a 20% “room charge service fee.” In order to use the HHonors food and beverage credit, you have to charge to the room. This deflates the value of the credit by 20%. And don’t be fooled….the 20% goes to the house, not the servers. Leave the servers a gratuity on top, and almost 40% of the total is fees and gratuities. I would probably choose a different Hilton for my next Chicago visit so I would get the full value of my HHonors food and beverage credit.

I just checked in to the Hilton on Magnificent Mile. This is our second time staying here. My daughter’s family will be checking in later today. We find this location extremely convenient. Our flight arrived early and they were able to check us in so we can get situated and start walking around. Our check in was very smooth. Alicia L assisted us and she was quite accommodating in finding us a room where we can check in early and having our original request for two double beds. She was helpful and friendly. Really started my vacation on the right note!

Not a bad choice at all. Location is good, safe and quiet away from Mich Ave. Rooms need a big time upgrade/refresh. My sink handle was about to fall off and the sink itself clogs. The shower had some hairs from last person who stayed there. Check in was fast, nice restaurant / bar off the lobby and bed was comfortable. Will look to stay there again if my travels take me back

My Dad and I stayed at this Hilton property during a recent extended summer stay. For starters, the location is great! It's one block off Michigan Avenue and extremely close to Oak Street Beach and greater Lake Michigan. I loved the accessibility of my morning walks along the lake and through the neighborhoods along the shore. The property itself is comfortable and well maintained. The room had been recently refurbished. With it being a one bedroom suite, we had more than enough room to spread out between relaxing during the day and sleeping at night. The bathroom was nice as well - the walk in shower was a bonus! The morning breakfast was adequate and always plentiful. We also enjoyed the rooftop indoor pool and gym and the views it afforded. It was a hard pill to swallow when the Conrad Chicago closed and I had to find a new home while in town, but I think I found it. Great job making us feel at home!

I was visiting Chicago with my 11 year old Grandson on his Spring break and booked the Hilton Mag. Mile because of the location and pool. When we arrived we found out the pool was not in service. ( I do wish I was informed of this before we got there.) Now having said that, I am still give them 5 stars. We had a GREAT stay. The location is awesome. Walking distance to many attractions and places to eat. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Valet was very efficient and easy to use. The hotel and room was very clean pretty much spotless. The room was made up everyday. I would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
