I went to a meeting and spite having checked with my wife (having included her name in the reservation), the following day of our arrival the key became deactivated. The front desk employee wouldn’t allow her to activate her key until I spoke to him by phone giving him unnecessary id details. While it is bothersome to be distracted from business activities, it is annoying to be treated that way.

Everything is fine with the notable exception of the lack of a workable desk, with no electrical outlets in the vicinity. At times, I had to work in my bed!. I did notify the staff at checkout who just shrugged his shoulders showing indifference

The staff was friendly and helpful checking in and out and the room was spacious and had a great view! While waiting for my Lyft to the airport, they even stopped to offer me water. Exceptional staff. Also, the decorations were gorgeous and provided a wonderful entrance to the hotel. Great stay!

Four night stay at a renovated King Classic room in the Executive Tower. For this particular traveler, the room renovations celebrate form while sacrificing function. How so? I have two main criticisms of the renovated King Classic rooms: 1/ Power outlets, including USB Type C, were only available through a combination clock radio located on the right side of the king sized bed. The left side had none. The under TV shelf likewise had zero outlets. People with more than two devices that require simultaneous charging will be forced to either charge the third, fourth devices using the outlet located in the bathroom or the wall outlet located close to the floor. In summary, the number of available power outlets in the King Classic rooms are inadequate. 2/ The half partition shower guarantees a wet bathroom floor, especially if you run the shower at full strength and the shower head is positioned in such a way that the spray reaches the far end of the shower stall. Other notes: 3/ The heater took a bit longer than usual to get water from cold to warm. In my book, the absence of a hand held, in addition to the fixed shower head, is also a missed opportunity. 4/ For a newly renovated room, I found the air conditioning to be louder than it should be. The noise did not prevent me from sleeping but I have stayed in other hotel rooms where the in room air conditioners are almost silent. 5/ When I checked-in, I had two bottles of shampoo and one conditioner, rather than the regular shampoo, shower gel and conditioner. I had to request housekeeping for a bottle of shower gel. 6/ The mini refrigerator is one of those auto-charging ones. Remove an item from its place for more than 30 seconds, you're charged for it. (There is a posted notice in the mini-bar.) Given that, I appreciated that the hotel allocates adequate space in the mini fridge for guests to store personal items. 7/ My King Classic room did not come with the usual toiletries (stuff like cotton buds), in-room slippers, or a luggage rack. Weird, especially the absence of a luggage rack. I did not suggest house keeping for one and ended up using the round table as an improvised rack. 8/ I had breakfast at the hotel on 2 of my 4 days. On my first visit, I ordered off the menu. On the other, I chose the buffet. The food was tasty overall. However, I found the breakfast space bland, interior design wise. For an IC in the U.S., the offerings on the breakfast buffet were okay. That's it. That's all I have to write.
