Description
from Monuments, Memorials, and Arlington Cemetery Bike Tour
This tour is offered on a seasonal basis, April through October.
Spanning nearly two miles in length, D.C's National Mall is home to some of the most moving and inspiring memorials our nation has to offer. Get up close and personal to the highlights of this special area along with one of our expert tour guides. Our bikes allow you to pedal along the wide sidewalks and see so much more than you ever could on your feet, without wearing yourself out walking from monument to monument. We'll cruise to numerous of the treasures in the National Mall, including the World War II Memorial, the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, and many, many more.
We'll take a brief stop for lunch (cost not included) and cross the Potomac River into Virginia for what is arguably one of the most moving memorials in D.C: Arlington National Cemetery. We'll park our bikes at the entrance and stroll the hills of the cemetery on foot including Arlington House, the Kennedy Gravesite, and Tomb of the Unknown Soldier where we will stop and witness the incredible Changing of the Guard ceremony.
Join us on one of the most unique and memorable bike rides in Washington DC!
