From the moment we walked in the doors, Paul and Herman were amazing. I was having a panic attack (first time driving in DC) and both of them calmed me down and kept reassuring me! They always greeted us with a smile and asked how we were doing. They truly were amazing and I appreciated them more than they knew! The solo waiter in the restaurant on 03/20 and 03/22 was awesome as well, he was extremely busy but never missed a beat! The valet was great too and has easy access to my car at all times. Overall we had the best experience with this staff! Besides the staff the room was nice and clean, the pool and pool area was clean. Only complaint would be later pool hours but I also understand logistics but that honestly would be the only thing! Thank you again Paul and Herman!

I had inadvertently made the incorrect reservation dates for a 2 day stay in Washington. The front desk agent Paul and manger Candance were more than helpful finding an available room for our stay. Additionally we were early for checking and they gladly checked us in allowing us to enjoy being tourist ! Very impressed with the helpfulness.

I had a wonderful 10 day experience, from the staff..Paul, Este, Genia, Millie, the doormen who looked out for me so well. And every person there was helpful and kind. My watch did got stolen by a “guest” but other than that I will go back at any opportunity. Also, the food there is EXCELLENT!! From the breakfast buffet to the restaurant menu. The short rib tacos are a feast and I appreciated the great service from the kitchen staff!! Thank you Capitol Hilton Garden Inn for the memorable stay!!

As a Hilton Silver member, Hilton/Hampton Inn has always been my preferred hotel to stay for trips. The last 3 trips we have stayed, we had a great experience but this last one left a little to be desired. When we arrived at check in, we noticed that the water stations were empty, but being it’s near a holiday (NYE), I didn’t make a big deal. The following day, I saw the drink station had been switched out for coffee and hot water, but when I walked over to get tea, there were no tea bags. It’s possible it may have been the time of day I went to the drink station, so I attempted to make coffee in my room. The coffee machine ended up being broken, which was another let down. By this time I had given it up. We went to inquire about adding breakfast to our stay as it has not included, but were told that the kitchen would be shut down for at least 2 days, only to discover later that breakfast service had taken place and the kitchen was not closed. We were very disappointed by that as we had intended it add it to our stay. We did, however, enjoy the service and hospitality shown by the bartender named Kevon (Von) which helped with some of the experience we had been having. He was very knowledgeable about the city and personable. I’m hoping that we definitely have an improved experience the next time we choose to stay at a Hilton/Hampton Inn.
