Drive yourself around on your Yamaha VX Deluxe Jet Ski while splashing around Biscayne Bay.

Good To Know

Drivers must be over the age of 16.
Under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Drivers born after January 1, 1988, will have to take a boating exam (USD $3).
Participants must understand English.
You must sign a waiver before participating in this activity.
Start times may be delayed due to weather or other factors, in which case a voucher will be provided in order to reschedule the activity.
Fuel and services fees, $75 USD, are not included.

Description

Adventure begins as you jump on a powerful Yamaha VX Deluxe Jet ski. Speed on the water as you enjoy the Millionaire homes and the small Venetian Islands. Enjoy the Miami sun as you race on your Jet ski. If adrenaline is what you're looking for, Jet skiing is the answer.

As you arrive you will go over how to safely operate a jet ski. You will have an instructor on a separate jet ski for your assistance. There is a large ride zone and you will be free to ride and enjoy your driving.

Please note: There is a $75 cash deposit for gas surcharge.

By law in the State of Florida, anyone born on or after January 1, 1988, who operates a vessel powered by 10 horsepower or more must pass an approved boater safety course and have in his/her possession photographic identification and a boating safety education identification card issued by the FWC or a Florida boater education temporary certificate issued by an authorized vendor. The cost is $10 for this license.

How long is the jet ski ride?

The jet ski ride is 60 minutes.

Is there a weight limit on the jet ski?

The jet ski is not suitable for individuals over 250 lbs. The price is per machine. Two adults are allowed per machine. Max weight per machine is 400 lbs. A small child can be added in addition to the two adults if the total weight is under 400 lbs.

Do I need to arrive early?

Meet at the "Extreme Jet Ski Tour" desk. The address is 305 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, FL 33139. Arrive 1 hour before your departure so that all waivers and paperwork can be completed. This ensures that you have the best experience and depart at your scheduled time.

What if I don’t know how to swim?

You are NOT required to know how to swim. You are provided proper water sports life jackets prior to boarding the skis.

What if I have never been on a jet ski before?

Prior jet ski use is NOT required. We have shown many first-timers how to operate the machine and have an AMAZING time.

How old do I have to be to drive?

Unless the parent is present to sign the required liability waivers you must be 18 years of age. If the parent is present anyone 16 years of age or older should be fine to drive if they have a proper government-issued ID with birthdate and required NASBLA approved boat certificate (Decision is up to ROM on duty).

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, you can bring your own kids and you must sign waivers for your own children.

Is there an instructor with us?

Yes. Even on the “ridezone” there will be a safety guide on his own ski out on the water to assist you.

What kind of clothing should I wear?

While most of the year a bathing suit would be the clothing of choice it is always a good idea to have shorts, sunscreen, and sunglasses.

Is there a slow zone and if so how long is it?

There is a slow zone departing and entering our marina which is approximately 5 minutes long.

Can I use my Go Pro?

Cameras may be brought on the trip; however, filming is NOT allowed while we are in motion. You are free to take video and photos at our stops but while we are moving on this high-speed adventure filming will not be permitted.
