The food was like you buy one at the supermarket in the paper box, and we saw a much better show at the Cultural Center for free.

"Great event and Great Service from Reserve Direct"
February 2019
Two families plus ourselves decided to book the Ka Moana Luau at Sea Life Park through Reserve Direct. By mistake, I booked the luau on the wrong date. I called Reserve Direct and spoke to Morgan. She contacted Ka Moana and resolved the problem with no financial penalty. Thank you, Morgan!

The luau, itself, was great. Plentiful and tasty food, fun music, spectacular show and idyllic setting. There were activity tables perfect for the four children ages 7 - 9 in our party. The performers were skilled and proud to share their Polynesian culture with us. We recommend arriving at the luau at the 5:30pm start time, and coming back to Sea Life Park another date (The luau ticket gives you park access any day within the following week). Don't miss the dolphin show!

Altogether a great time and great value for the money. It exceeded our expectations!

"Beautiful & Enertaining"
November 2018
Me and my daughter went with the celebrity package Ka Moana Luau and it was worth every cent! The only thing I wish I would have done was get there when the doors open. There are many stations with activities to enjoy before the show (Leigh making, ukulele lessons, headband making and paint tattoos..) From start to finish it was a joy to be there. You can feel the energy from the entertainers and it was educational, welcoming , beautiful and funny! My 5 year old and I enjoyed it immensely.

"BEST LUAU SO FAR"
June 2018
We have been to Hawaii about 5 times and although we find Luau's to be quite touristy we still end up going to one at each island. Ka Moana Luau was the second Luau weve been to in Oahu and by far this is the best one we have been to. The atmosphere and location was gorgeous on the East side of the Island with Rabbit island as the backdrop. Looked gorgeous as the sun was setting. Check in was simple at Sea Life park (Bonus for free entrance into the park prior to the Luau or up to 1 week after). There were many stations to learn more about Hawaiian culture (about 30 minutes to ease into the night), host was super funny, the show itself was amazing. Great story line about the Ocean, highlighted main styles of Polynesian dance and included some modern ones as well. We found other Luau's dragged on too much with the Emu ceremony and including guests on stage, but Ka Moana was just PERFECT
Drinks were good and FOOD (most importantly) was great. Good selection and plenty for second and thirds. Great experience overall! Will change your mind about boring/touristy Luau's :)
