Description

From the creative team behind the Tony Award-winning In The Heights comes a wildly inventive new musical about the scrappy young immigrant who forever changed America: Alexander Hamilton.

Tony, Grammy, and Emmy Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda wields his pen and takes the stage as the unlikely founding father determined to make his mark on a new nation as hungry and ambitious as he is. From bastard orphan to Washington's right-hand man, rebel to war hero, loving husband caught in the country's first sex scandal to Treasury head who made an untrusting world believe in the American economy, HAMILTON is an exploration of a political mastermind.

George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Eliza Hamilton, and lifelong Hamilton friend and foe Aaron Burr all attend this revolutionary tale of America’s fiery past told through the sounds of the ever-changing nation we’ve become.
Tony Award nominee Thomas Kail directs this new musical about taking your shot, speaking your mind, and turning the world upside down.

This show is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, including intermission. Recommended for ages 10 and up. Children under the age of 4 are not permitted in the theatre.

Don’t go if you dislike loud, obnoxious rap music and inaccuracies. The whole show was in rap music. Worst show I’ve ever been to. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing the tickets and wish I could get my money back. We couldn’t understand anything, the set never changed. A lot of money for a low budget show. We ended up leaving during intermission. Awful!! and Terrible!!

Last night’s performance was not great. 🫤 It was kind of disappointing. There were quite a few standby and swing performers in key roles that made things feel awkward. LOJr was good, but had no supporting cast. Eliza and Hamilton had zero chemistry onstage … not a good match. Also our overpriced seats (due to LOJr) were obstructed, but that was not disclosed when we bought them. Do NOT sit under the mezzanine.

I found it interesting that the heroes were non-white and the villains were white. Not at all divisive. Right, Lin-Manuel?

Not our kind of a show. Totally overrated. Over advertised. Overpriced. Misrepresented. Couldn't wait for it to be over. Waisting of time and money. Our cast wasn't the best either. Read more about it, read reviews before buying the tickets. I Do NOT recommend going. Most our friends think the same!
