Located in the heart of Times Square, Tempo by Hilton offers proximity to numerous attractions, including the Empire State Building, Central Park, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The Broadway Theatre, which has hosted long-running shows such as Evita, Miss Saigon, South Pacific, and Fiddler on the Roof, is just an eight-minute walk away.

The hotel features a 24-hour fitness center, a shared lounge, an outdoor terrace with city-center views, and an on-site restaurant overlooking Times Square. Some rooms and suites provide spectacular views of the New Year's Eve Ball Drop and the vibrant Times Square.

Guest rooms and suites are well-equipped with HDTV, a mini-refrigerator, on-demand movies, a work desk, a hairdryer, an in-room safe, and Apotheke bath amenities. Suites even offer a living room for added space and comfort.

Minimum age to check-in: The reservation holder must be at least 21 years old to check in with a matching, valid, government-issued photo ID and credit card.

Parking: Valet parking is available for USD 95 per day. Self-parking is not available. The EV charging station is nearby, around 0.2 miles from the property.

Pet Policy: Pets are allowed. The hotel accepts dogs only, with a maximum weight of 50 lbs. There is a fee of USD 100 + tax per night. This Hilton property was nicer than I expected. The room was clean, and we had housekeeping early every day - a nice perk. The location is good for theatre goers and those looking to hang out in Times Square. I do have concerns about the Urban Fee that Hilton is charging, $34.95 per day. There is also a fee to check in early ($75) with a checkin time of 4pm. They do hold luggage though, so one could easily just leave luggage on day 1 and wait for the check in. I also feel the restaurant and convenience prices are quite high. Duane Reade and Target are close, probably better off getting water etc there. There is a $35 credit each day if you charge your convenience store or restaurant/bar charges to your room. Great front desk staff. Glass of wine and glass of beer will run you $50. Lobby often smells like marijuana. Very crowded street front, be prepared to quickly jump in and out of your rideshare rides. The room booked on HIlton ran us $400 a night. NY related taxes add about $65 to your daily cost.

We stayed at the Hilton Tempo hotel in NYC Times Square for over a week. The room we stayed in had a great view overlooking Times Square. The service here was 10/10, all of the staff were very attentive but David from the bell team especially went above and beyond for us during our stay .

Tempo by Hilton was an absolute delight! The property is well appointed, sleek, modern, and immaculately clean. But more than that was the staff, I cannot say enough about the stellar service we received during our stay. Every single staff member we encountered was professional, gracious, kind, and welcoming. The nightly rate was a bargain. This is now my go to hotel in Manhattan, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

PROS: Location, staff responsiveness, large bathroom, comfy beds CONS: Cannot guarantee check in early even as Hilton DIAMOND. Rooms are tiny. Upgrades for DIAMOND status are insignificant at most. No slippers provided (unless you ask). Tiny towels--no true bath towels. Housekeeping was banging on doors at 8 AM hoping to get their jobs done early--I was sleeping.
