"Guided NYC Bike Tour"

My wife and I took the 3 hour bike tour around Manhattan. The tour guide was excellent (a proud New Yorker) and showed us all key areas of Manhattan while providing lot of great historical information. The cycling was easy as the city is flat. Bike lanes make it safe and the traffic is used to cyclists. Would definitely recommend for people of all ages.

This was absolutely wonderful. We went with a group of students from Norway. And we had a very nice ride. Our guides Stephen and Paul were absolutely amazing. We loved them. One of the students said that, «you actually want to hear what Stephen sais». They were fun, energetic and had so much knowledge.

"NY cycle hire"

Great efficient hire for 2 hour cycle round central park with 2 teens and a pre teen. 5 min walk with bikes to the park entrance. Could have cycled but because with children preferred to wait until we arrived at the park. Whole park easily cycled in under 2 hours at a leisurely pace with view stops. Bikes in good order and easy to ride. Great service. A real highlight to our holiday.

"Great Tour of Central Park!"

We had a great tour of central park. Good and fun guide. It's just a pity that we had booked a Dutch tour guide, but he was not present on the day of the tour. Definitely recommended for a tour in NYC!

"Hands off"

We took a reservation at NYC eBike Rentals, Unlimited Biking, 79 Chambers on Saturday, September 2 2023, 11.30a.m., 2 DayPASS Electric Bikes for $156.23 + 20$ assurance, to be returned at 6.45 p.m. We arrived at 11a.m. to recieve our bikes. The rude man behind the counter was already a little bit annoyed because I was so impudent demanding a basket and the NYC bike map which should have been included but were unfortunately not available. Instead we got the `homemade` Unlimited Biking Map proposing exactly 2 bike paths (Huson-Brooklyn loop and Central Park). Admittedly it was very crowded and the three-person-crew had some work to do. The mood of the man behind the counter did not improve, seeing me returning, after having taken a test drive and complaining that the bike battery was only half full (what meant to him : change the bike and the lock). A half full battery would have been enough for Central, but not for Hudson, East River and Brooklyn therefore we chose DayPasses. Sorry! During our ride I noticed that after every stop the chain slips from a small sprocket to a large one. Additionally the disc kept rubbing against the pads (the caliper needed to be trued again). Informing the man behind the counter he apparently was not interested in anything. All in all the ebikes are okay for shorter rides. The speed range covers eco, normal and high. Limited range of gear (five). Amazingly my bike had gravel tires – in NYC? The two assistants were friendly and helpful but no professionals. The man at the counter neither nor. Example: Asking him whether I could speak with the manager he rudly told me that there was none. Asking him if he could tell me his name he simply answered me: No! Kind regards!
