Overview

Witnessing a rocket blasting off into space is a one-of-a-kind event you don’t want to miss! Exploration Tower boasts spectacular views and offers enhanced audio and visuals on the rooftop for those who want a more in-depth experience. ULA’s Atlas V Solar Orbiter is scheduled to launch on February 5th, 2020. The Solar Orbiter will study the sun and is a joint mission of NASA and the European Space Agency.

Launch Time:
11:03 PM- 1:03 AM

Launch Mission:
A United Launch Alliance Atlas 5 rocket, designated AV-087, will launch the Solar Orbiter spacecraft for NASA and the European Space Agency. Built by Airbus Defense and Space, Solar Orbiter, or SolO, will travel inside the orbit of Mercury to study how the sun creates and controls the heliosphere, the vast bubble of charged particles blown by the solar wind into the interstellar medium. The rocket will fly in the 411 vehicle configuration with a four-meter fairing, one solid rocket booster and a single-engine Centaur upper stage. *Referenced from SpaceFlightNow.com

VIP Launch Viewing Tickets are non-refundable. Purchased tickets to see the launch are mission-specific (example: SpaceX CRS19). Launches can be scheduled for any date/time. Launch tickets are valid for Admission to Exploration Tower (ET) day of the launch and for the Launch Viewing scheduled time.

In the event of a Scrub or Reschedule/Delay:
If the launch is scrubbed or rescheduled/delayed while at ET for the launch, your ticket will be good for the next scheduled date/time of that mission. *

If the launch is scrubbed or rescheduled/delayed before the initially scheduled date, the ticket will be good for the next scheduled date of that mission. *

*This is subject to change based on ET availability. ET may have a previously scheduled event and cannot accommodate the new scheduled launch date/time. Launch tickets will not be honored for the new mission date. Launch time and date are subject to change at any time.

Guests can watch the launch on any of the 7 floors. However, the roof is the most popular view point. 

What are the hours of operation? 
Exploration Tower is open from Sunday - Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Rocket launches are at specific times. Please check your reservation for rocket launch information.

Is parking available? 
Yes. Free parking can be found in the adjacent lot to the Exploration Tower building.

Is admission to Exploration Tower included in my VIP Launch Viewing ticket? 
Absolutely. Admission to the Exploration Tower is included with the purchase of a VIP Launch Viewing ticket.

What if the launch is scrubbed?
Tickets are non-refundable and you will need to purchase a new ticket for the new scheduled launch date.
