Operated by Grayline, Tybee Island Dolphin Tours will give guests a memorable sightseeing experience of Tybee Island. The five and half hour tour starts with a climate-controlled bus ride to the Crab Shack for a delicious seafood lunch with spectacular views. After lunch, you will board the boat for a Dolphin Cruise through Tybee Island's waterways in search of the ever-prevalent bottle-nose dolphin playing in their natural habitat, birdlife, estuaries, and marshes they call home. Sightseeing at Tybee Island Lighthouse and lunch at Crab Shack!

Travel on board our climate controlled vehicle for lunch on your own at the Crab Shack on Tybee Island where the Elite Eat in their bare-feet.
Following lunch, we will board the boat for a Dolphin Cruise through Tybee Island’s-waterways in search of the ever-prevalent bottle-nose dolphin playing in their natural-habitat.

After the Dolphin Cruise we will stop by the Tybee Island Lighthouse overlooking the Atlantic Ocean for a photo opportunity before returning to Savannah.

What are the hours of operation?

Monday - Saturday 11:00am - 5:00pm. 


Is parking provided? If so, what is the fee?

Parking fees at Savannah Visitors Center *(FREE 1st hour & $2.00 each hour following)


Are there any age etc. restrictions for this activity?

The tour is fun for ages 3 and up. 


Is transportation included? If so, where is the pick-up spot, or how do I arrange it?

We ask our passengers to be ready for pick up in front of the hotel or B&B 30 minutes before the scheduled departure of their tour. Gray Line Savannah shuttle buses collect passengers from hotels bring them to the Savannah Visitor’s Center at 301 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., which is the main departure and arrival location for our sightseeing tours. After the tour, passengers are dropped off at their hotels or B&B’s they were collected from or can be dropped off at the Savannah Visitor’s Center.

Yes, lots of photo opportunities

How long is the tour?

The tour is 5.5 hours long. 


What’s included in my ticket/experience?

Lunch at the Crab Shack on its own – Not included in the price of the tour. The cruise includes views of Historic Fort Pulaski, Cockspur Island Lighthouse (built-in 1856), and Tybee Island Lighthouse. Following the Dolphin Cruise, we will stop by the Tybee Island Lighthouse for a photo opportunity before returning back to Savannah.
