We were privileged to experience the Midnight Mourning Tour, which was fantastic. Although it was difficult to navigate transportation so late at night, it was well worth the effort. Our host was so knowledgeable and it was refreshing to hear the history of this grand plantation throughout the tour. We even enjoyed a special treat from the lovely Satsuma tree near the plantation's entrance! I hear there are some exciting offerings at Christmas soon to be available. We will certainly return!

We toured both homes, and thoroughly enjoyed the tours. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. They took their time, did not rush us and answered all of our questions. We highly recommend taking these tours, but be sure to bring cash if you plan to tip. There’s no ATM on site.

This was a remarkably entertaining and learning tour. This is a must see plantation, would not have known about it if we hadn’t passed it. We had a private tour since there were only two of us. We learned so much of the history of the family and the sugar cane fields.

"St Joseph and Felicity Plantations. Great homes to tour!!"

We had great guides, thanks Anne and Adrienne!! We were the only couple there at the 11:00 tour, so it was like we had private tours!! Anne was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the property and surrounding area for the St Joseph Plantation, while Adrienne (who is a relative of the owners) was our guide for Felicity. Adrienne was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the family history! She gave us a tour even though they were getting the house ready for a family wedding. We actually meet some of the family who were visiting the house for the wedding. Both of these plantations are definitely worth visiting.

It was a gorgeous day & the grounds were fabulous! Not to mention, a beautiful home! Our tour guide was amazing, knowledgeable. As she shared the history of this beautiful home it’s like I traveled in time. It’s as if my mind was transported into the time period. I loved that she shared stories shared by some descendants of previous inhabitants of the plantation home. My daughter & I had a wonderful time & recommend touring St. Joseph Plantation to everyone!
