I’ve stayed at The Roosevelt New Orleans multiple times this year — in May, July, and again in October — and I already have two more visits booked for December. Each stay has been fantastic, and the main reason I keep coming back is Bethany at the front desk. Bethany has personally checked me in for all of my stays, and every time she delivers the same incredible level of service — warm, genuine, and always professional. She remembers returning guests, anticipates what you need before you even ask, and makes every visit feel like coming home. It’s rare to find someone who blends attentiveness and authenticity the way she does. The hotel itself is beautiful — the lobby feels iconic, the rooms are spotless and comfortable, and the entire staff is first-class — but it’s Bethany who truly sets the tone. Her hospitality is the reason I recommend The Roosevelt to friends and colleagues, and why I’ll continue to stay here on every future trip to New Orleans. If Hilton gives out awards for excellence, she deserves one.

I stayed at The Roosevelt New Orleans in May, and from check-in to check-out, the experience was exceptional. Bethany at the front desk immediately stood out — friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. She made sure everything about my stay went smoothly and took the time to make me feel like more than just another guest. The hotel itself is gorgeous — elegant lobby, spotless rooms, and great amenities — but it’s the staff that really sets it apart. Thanks to Bethany’s care and attention to detail, I knew this wouldn’t be my last stay.

We booked The Roosevelt for a night in NOLA to celebrate my wife’s birthday. It is a very historic-feeling hotel. The Sazerac Bar is neat as is the rooftop pool. Those are the good parts. Now for the not-so-good. This is a 5 star, Waldorf Astoria property. It felt like neither. Our 1 bedroom suite felt massive- until you step in the bathroom. I say this with no hyperbole- if you are a person of size or tall, you may not fit in the bathroom. The closet is larger than the bathroom. I’m talking comically small. I have never sent a drink back up to this point in my life. After waiting 25 minutes for our drinks at the rooftop pool, they were completely watered down pre-mixes. At $18 each, yeah we sent them back. There are expectations attached when you spend nearly $1k for one night at a hotel. Unfortunately, The Roosevelt doesn’t really come close.
