Your self guided tour will take you through 15 themed galleries containing some of the most unusual objects, items, and collections, in the world.

Robert Ripley traveled to over 200 countries in his lifetime collecting oddities everywhere he went. Featured items include: a shrunken human torso which once belonged to renowned writer, Ernest Hemingway. We also display Hemingway's own typewriter and reading glasses!

As you enter Ripley's Key West Museum, you can now take part in making your very own personal souvenir Wax Hands! Stroll pass Matchstick art and singing robots to enter the world of the bizarre. Inside you'll see video clips from the top rated TBS television series starring Dean Cain, stand next to Miracle, the actual white buffalo who's odds of being born pure white are one in ten million, then try your best to remain upright as you inch your way through the Vortex Tunnel, a totally mind-blowing experience. And that's still not all! Take a selfie next to a life size replica of the worlds tallest man or capture your shadow on a wall.

This is a great spot for kids but as an adult ..... hmmmm maybe not so much..... however my opinion is subject to personal preferences... I will admit there are a couple of neat facts and displays..... but not my cup of tea. Would prefer to be on Duval with all of the oddities of today.

Lots of different interesting displays, stories and artifacts. Our family spent several hours here avoiding the heat. One of my favorite exhibits was the two headed animals. My kids loved the swirling tunnel that makes you feel like you are floating. We had fun. They also offer a military discount.

"Not the Best Ripley's, but Better Than Some Local Museums"

We have visited two other Ripley's locations in the US and this one was by far our least favorite. For the space, there just aren't that many exhibits. I also don't recall anything overly unique about this museum as well. There was a stuffed gorgeous, rare white buffalo, but no information given.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much when entering due to size of the building, however, I was very pleasantly surprised. The building is air conditioned and filled with lots of artifacts and information from Ripley's trips around the world. Some were very odd indeed, some were a bit gruesome and some were "did I just see that?". A nice way to spend a couple of hours out of the heat on Duval.

I didn’t read every sign in this museum causes if I had I would still be there. But I did read a lot of them and I learned a few things. I found the story about white bison fascinating and Johnny Eck was just a marvel. There were some creepy things two like the cyclops kitten and the two headed rabbit. Always interesting to see the oddities of the world.
