Description

from Ripley's Believe It or Not! Branson
Considered the most unusual building in Branson, the 12,000 sq. foot Ripley's Odditorium is everything it's cracked up to be! Having recently gone through an extensive renovation, we have crammed as much fun into one building as is possible. This self-guided tour features over 400 "unbelievable" artifacts, jaw-dropping oddities, world records, amazing illusions, pranks of nature, cool inter-actives and awesome works of art.

Just a few of the newest additions include a full-size stagecoach made from 1.5 million toothpicks and a pair of horses made from welded horseshoes. Also, there are African fantasy coffins, a picture of Jesus on the cross made from burnt toast, a laser shooting gallery and you can't miss the wacky "spinning vortex" tunnel. With all that and more, it's sensational FUN for the entire family!

So many oddities! It's a fun and bright place for kids, but there is a lot of reading to understand the displays, so it may be best for older kids!

"Fun"

I had been to ripleys when I was younger. I remember it being more interactive. My husband had never been and had wanted to go the last several times we went. It was fun, but there are more exciting things to do.

All the different artwork was very interesting. I do warn you people with motion sickness like me that there is a walk way at the end you can walk through ans the walls are circling you. You can also skip it but boy I went through ans just closed my eyes haha!

"Way cool! More then I expected!"
January 2019
We had a really good time here. Is suggest going at least once as there are lots of cool things to look at and do.we are going again someday when our kids are a little older and can appreciate everything. They are 1 and 3 so here in a few years it will be better. Not the greatest place to take a baby because strollers don't work(lots of stairs) despite that we had a really good time the giant light bright was there favorite part. Mine were the piano stairs. Way cool! Kinda steep price but one inside I felt that the money was worth it.

Tip: Don't bring a stroller. If your bringing a baby I'd consider wearing a wrap or baby carrier. Great for off season. There was hardly anyone there in January!

"what an interesting fun trip"
December 2018
I LOVED watching Ripley's Believe it or Not on TV when I was a kid and I got to share the odd and mysterious finding with my family while on vacation and it was so much fun and so interesting. We loved it and the staff was so friendly and nice. Our only wish that was there were more!

Tip: the layout can be confusing if you have a stroller because you start out downstairs then have to go upstairs and finish the tour downstairs. but there is an elevator
