"Rooms are worn out"

Floor of the first room had an obvious slant to where feet would feel elevated when laying on the bed. Bathroom wasn’t very clean and had knats by the sink. Furniture peeling and handles broken. Lighting was dark. This was part of a tour package, so we opted to change rooms. Second one was level and a bit cleaner, but the furniture was worn out, the lighting dim, and the bathroom TINY. We were told there would be no room cleaning on day one, but we would have it on day two (of three). That never happened. Luckily, we brought our own coffee pot and coffee. However, the room had ONE hand towel and two washcloths. We asked for more towels the first morning, which they brought, along with a shower curtain to replace the sour one, but apparently there must be a shortage of washcloths. Security: only building 1 has a staffed desk. Normally, hotels keep the non-main entrances locked. Buildings 2 and 3 were never locked, main or side entrances. Yet, the pool that should be open 7am til midnight was locked all morning until at least noon. Breakfast: Buffet area was dirty. Gravy handle was in the gravy and people still used it. Sausage was cold. Biscuits were hard. Eggs were hot and tasted fine, but couldn’t get beyond that gravy handle. We ate out the remaining two mornings, which was an unplanned expense, but found two places that were great! There is no way this is a 3-star and the tour company will hear from us. Our preferred chain is Holiday Inn so it isn’t like we need 4 or 5 star, this one isn’t even a 2. The tour company should not partner with this place and label it a 3. In the future, we will pay whatever it costs to stay at a chain hotel we know is consistent for service and cleanliness. Positives: Location, parking lighting, plenty of luggage carts, grounds were pretty and maintained.

"Employees were very kind... The room was between a 3 and 4...."

My husband and I had a room with 1 queen bed, bottom floor. The receptionist who checked us in was very sweet. The room was very small, bathroom was so tiny...I guess we're a little used to that because we've owned small campers. The sink outside the bathroom was plugged. The bed was clean and comfortable. The carpet was very smelly though... I'm thinking maybe a dog peed in the corner by my side of the bed. I definitely kept putting my shoes on when I got out of bed. Everything else looked clean. Slept well. We never went in to try the breakfast, but they looked like they had a nice area for it. They had a small pool and hot tub that looked very clean but we didn't try that out either.

"Great place just off the strip"
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5

A great place to stay off the strip with reasonable prices. A buffet breakfast was included with hot food and seating insde and out. There are plenty of areas inside and outside to enjoy, so you don't have to be cooped up in a room, especially if you are with a group. It is an older hotel, with three separate building, so there are a few places which need updated or remodeled. Also, it is off a main route, so don't listen to GPS because it (ours did) take you in a weird way.

"Scenic area hotel"

The Heathers (there were 2 ladies named Heather working the front desk at the same time!) were really nice. I asked if there was a 1st floor unit available since I recently had knee surgery and she made it happen! The room was nice, but a little dated. The carpet was clean. The sheets were clean. The pillows were soft. The towels were plush and the black make-up removal towels were a nice touch. Good water pressure in the shower and comode. We could definitely hear the people walking in the hallway upstairs. But the sounds subsided once it was bedtime. The breakfast was hot, yes. The breakfast was 'okay'. But there was a good variety and rotation of items. (Scrambled eggs, hashbrown casserole, sausage links, ham, biscuits, gravy, cold cereal, pastry, fruit cocktail, oatmeal, milk, coffee, juice) Indoor swimming pools, hot tubs, video game arcade, elevator, close proximity to grocery store and gas stations and tourist attractions, scenic area.

"Friendly and helpful staff, clean, affordable, unique themed room"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed July 22, 2024
I checked in as a last minute guest with no reservation, as I have been on a road trip and wasn’t expecting to stop in Branson. Heather Madrid at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and set me up with a room that had a very comfortable king sized bed and a jacuzzi tub with a stone surround and waterfall. The room is definitely unique and fun. The hotel seems approximately clean and tidy, and i would stay here again.
