Stone Castle Hotel in Branson, MO

I only gave it a 3 star because it need some TLC and the breakfast room does remind you of a cafeteria style seating. Good breakfast, though. It is in a different building and might be tough for elderly, or handicapped. Maybe they put you in that building?? I have pictures in hopes of coming thru for you and yes I did let the from desk ( spencer ) know about a major problem of water leaks/ flooding. Let me explain- the shower curtain ( incase no pictures) was about 7 inches shorter than what needed to be so, Yes.. water ALL outside of shower, very little towels and didn’t want to use them all on the 1/2 inch standing water. Room has a slant to it, so it goes back towards the toilet and actually gets the next room behind it all wet and make that room tile ( under the carpet ) all loose also. Now I know why it looked so bad with the edging in by the short toilet. The bed is the firm - soft feeling. Firm as meaning it doesn’t sink or have spring feeling, and soft meaning it’s NOT a pillow top soft but has a small softness to it. I’d much rather have pillow top beds but hard to find in travels. Oh the bed did look like it was slanted on the one side but I though…oh well, I need some blood rushing to my head, it was fine though, lol. I had the room that actually had a dining room in the CASTLE corner..that was awesome, loved it. Sat 4 comfortably. Huge room and thought it would be a nice apt. I was concerned on no curtains in the dinning room nor on the closing glass doors to the area with the sun coming in, but, all good. No problem. Type living. Kitchen, fridge,microwave sink. Tv was large with 2 larger seat in front of it. All was good, I would get this room again if they fix the bathroom issues. Some pictures might show another room also, next door ..like cowboy style. Sometimes they only let you write one review. That room had a huge 2 person easily hot tub in it. Ned was same, firm/ soft. Loved the style of the room, great for country honeymoon no doubt! Only bummer there was no views outside to mention.. trash below.

This is a very old hotel with old hotel issues: everything is damp, smells like cigarettes from the 40's, and does not have properly divinity functioning heat and air. The morning breakfast signs encourage you to spend 30 minutes or less to open tables in a congested dining area.

Well, I will say we have a great stay at the Stone Castle Hotel. I did enjoy my time there. Place was clean and beautiful. My only complaint was that I called the hotel to ask about my iPad I left there. First time I called I was told to call back the next day when housekeeping was in. She told me if I don't hear from them by 9 am to call back. So, I didn't hear them back, so I called them. The guy who called answered the phone and I started to explain way I was calling, He said, you called yesterday, and I am too busy checking out people to listen to you. Then hung up the phone! So, I waited until the afternoon since I didn't hear from anyone. I called back; this guy told me he would call me back after he checked with housekeeping. So, about half hour later he called me back and told me they didn’t have it. Now my find my iPhone finder is showing me that it is in the hotel. I explained it to him. He told me they don't have anything and nothing they can do. Unless I would like to stop by hotel and look at myself. I tried to explain I live in Pennsylvania. So, it's not like I can just drive over and check it out. He told me that he couldn't help me. I said maybe they need to check their housekeeping people out. He hung up on me. So, I am going to say please make sure you don't leave anything behind, because they will not return it to you. They need to better train their workers to be more compassion to customers who lost something in their hotel.

This was my first time visiting Branson and to my surprise the Stone Castle Hotel was HORRIBLE. Upon arrival to our room, the room smelled of urine, mold and old dirty clothes. The room was a king bed and the space was extremely small. In order to close the bathroom door you had to step in the bath tube to do so. I would not recommend this hotel for nothing. We stayed in building 3 and coming back at night there is NO parking.

Stayed 8 nights for a baseball tournament. Stay was great, very convenient to many places. Also very affordable. The staff at the front desk, very helpful, especially Allison!
